Ayn Rand destroys Socialist philosophy

We once had a socialist broadcaster who challenged things like the Free market and lauded Socialism.

Watch her ruin his day. She puts to rest the true problem with our lives. We do not have too much free market, we have socialists trying to ruin the free market.

She also blames the elite academics who preach socialism is good.

I don't know anyone beyond HS who take Ayn Rand seriously.

 

She certainly benefited from socialist programs

 

she was a atheist who chose to collect ss in her later years, she thought christians were moronic idiots,she had no understanding of America , she came from a country were politics and the economy were welded

 

She came from Russia so I do not trust anyone who was, us, it will be from Russia.

 

Most grow out of the randwank stage about the time they put aside childhood things.



She may have been the most boring fantasy writer who ever lived.

Eventually, she succumbed to the effects of cigarette smoking, having long been in denial of the consequences, pleading with the government for both her medicare and social security when she needed them.

Of course, socialist utopias are as fanciful as libertarian ones. Governance is a matter of pragmatism, not ideological dogma. That is why all advanced nations on earth have arrived at the same paradigm: democratic, regulating the free market, and establishing such safety nets as Ms Rosenbaum demanded for herself.

 

IF you think that harmed the woman, you guessed wrong. She was very brilliant and much of her ideas I go for entirely.

 

She would be the darling of Democrats had she been in this country illegally.

 

I regret having to defend her this way, but had she been a full blown communist, I believe you and her detractors would have adored the woman.

 

I have no control over whatever nonsense you wish and/or need to believe.

I could as easily pretend that, if she had been a racist, you would have wanted an inflatable Alisa Zinov'yevna Rosenbaum doll.

Her fictitious world is of no interest to me.

Yet you insist on criticizing her at every turn or anyone who even slightly admires her.

 

She was a very boring fiction writer. My turns very seldom encounter her.

Note their utter inability to address policy or philosophical positions in kind. They are nothing but repetitive advertisements. Even their objections to Rand are rehearsed as in a committee of groupthink.

Yet you jump into attack mode at the mention of her name

 

What amuses me, I suppose you might say, is how the alleged u-turn minders view Ayn Rand. Ayn, no matter what you claim was a very brilliant woman. One might expect one of the u-turners to admire her. She escaped communism. Atlas Shrugged is a monument to writing.

 

As it should be.

 

Then obviously she is not so trivial or unimportant.

Some informed criticism would also be nice

 

Ayn Rand's philosophies strike me as something you could logically dismantle without even reading anything she wrote.

At least that's been my experience.
