Smith acknowledges he intended to sexually assault his girlfriend's 6-month-old daughter but says he never intended to kill the baby. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- article One question should be asked of Steven Smith: Did the baby cry while you were getting your jollies?
Perhaps lock him in a room full of members of the victims family with blunt objects of their choosing?
The amazing thing is that bleeding heart lib do-gooders will take this guy seriously and actually try to have his death sentence reduced.
Hey...it's just post birth abortion. Infants "aren't legally people" (actually read that on this very forum), so there can be no actual crimes against their natural rights.
The so-called defence doesn't hold water. Unless the man is clinically mentally retarded, he has to have known that apart from the sheer moral failure the act of sex with a baby had to have posed major medical risks to his victim. Was the guy a virgin who had never had sex with anyone and had no basis for comparison, or never had any sex education, or lacked any knowledge that too small doesn't go well with too big? I don't think so. As for his punishment, life plus a day sounds good to me.
This is sick. Chop it off. I have a question though, if liberals don't see a problem with letting babies die after they are born alive, why would they have a problem with baby rape?
put his dick in a meat grinder and hit the switch. then after that death by impalement with a spear shoved up his back side. painful and slow, just like his victim had to suffer.
I wonder why the rape charge was not included on the charge sheet. One would think you would throw anything and everything at this guy

Cry me a river. I'm thinking a man sized easy bake oven until he is done. I see no reason for any kind of mercy in a case like this.
Journalist Amanda Lee Myers wrote for The Associated Press 2 May 2013: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Smith, 46, was executed by lethal injection at the state prison in Lucasville in southern Ohio for the 1998 killing of his live-in girlfriend's daughter, Autumn Carter, in Mansfield. ...As the lethal injection began, Smith took several heavy breaths before he closed his eyes. He was pronounced dead at 10:29 a.m. ...After he was dead, Frye's sister pumped her fists in the air. "I'm glad he's dead, and I hope he burns in hell," Frye said surrounded by her family after the execution. Frye's father and Autumn's grandfather, Patrick Hicks, said Smith's execution was too good for him. "Because of him, Autumn never had a chance to take her first step, she never had her first birthday or a first day of school," he said. "It's just unfortunate that this man gets to die a peaceful death after the torture he put Autumn through." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- article
Yes, that's true. I have read many posts from so called conservatives on this site claiming that their children were their property and they could do with them as they please.
But bu bu alcoholisim is a diease dontcha know? Heck, some now say its a disability. He really just needed a hug from some liberal councelor.
Not "property" but definatly the ones that get to call the shots about thier well being. And this is kind of apples and oranges. This "scum", for lack of a better term, got drunk and killed a baby in a horrific way. Previous thread was about getting a second opinion about a condition that was not life threatening right then and there.
hes scum for sure. And no you are not the final decider on what's best for your child . You can think idiotic parents who consistently make bad choices for that.
So DCF, the police, a doctors shady opinion, a nurse or anyone in "authority" has more say so over your child than the parent? Na. Not in the real world. Are there "bad" parents? Sure, but every parent is not bad. Every parent has the right to be part of the decision making process about what is right or wrong or is or isnt going to happen with thier child. Be true intrusive of that, and parents will start not taking thier kids to doctors all together. Keep them at home and home school them. Government needs to back off. All that DCF officer had to do was ask for the paper work from the second doctor and see that the child was not taken home and the illness forgotten about. But it looks like they went in like storm troopers and decided to jamb some one up.
