weel you sure seem to hold BOA's claims which are nothing but claims to be the gospel, while casting every doubt you can on the little company with 100 employees. I think what the real issue is that the thought of gun owners flexing their financial clout with a grassroots campaign scares you. Only left wing nutballs are supposed to be using facebook for organization, right ?

no. The Chicago tribune posted an article a week before mcmillan's FB posting pointing out BOA entered into a $250 million deal with a firearm manufacturer. It is YOU that is ignoring the facts ans relying solely on a FB posting by McMillan. Now you can accuse me of hating mid-sized businesses and puppies......lol....

It is fairly obvious that ONE BOA employee hates fire arm Manufacturers. I bet he did it on his own so why haven't we read a followup piece saying this Fox guy has been fired?

I did some research on this earlier and it's is very disturbing. I own stock in BAC (yes, I'm ahead) and now I'll sell it off. They have become what no American co should be, anti-Constitution.

As I stated in an earlier post, I have no problem with the business decision by Bank of America, even though I am pro-2nd amendment to the fullest extent possible. They are entitled to refuse the business of any person so long as it does not violate any laws or regulations.

I had a credit card with BOA and when they advertized lower rates than I was paying I called to get my rate down but they couldn't do it. I explained that i had had their card for ten years and wanted to stay with them but they thought that I was stuck with the high balance on the card. I cut the card up and sent them the pieces with a check for the balance and now they want me back at the lower rate.

I pay my other credit cards twice a month and haven't paid a dime of interest in years.

The bigger problem is even IF the OP is true it does not mean BOA is anti 2A. They would only be anti 2A if they lobbied to have that amendment repealed.

I grew up with guns but absolutely hate them now yet my personal view does not mean I am anti 2A because I fully support the right for other citizens to be gun loving freaks.

I can state with 100% certainty that the Bank has no position whatsoever on the 2nd Amendment. If it does not involve banking they have no position on pretty much anything. This thread was just people without the facts making a logical leap that (as usual) was dead wrong.

I suspected from the beginning mcmillan didn't like something about boa so a false statement was put out and he knew gun lovers would jump all over it without checking the facts. What I find ironic is if this guy was so aware of BOA's political motive why didn't he record the meeting to have the proof???

    Thanks for speaking up.

LOL!!! They just made a $250 million dollar deal with a gun maker a week before McMillan put this on FB.

So even when evidence is presented proving the OP false it still gets ignored. Not being finished with being STUPID is a great way to explain it.

I bet even if BOA documented the fact they are not with McMillan due to business reasons only then gun idiots would simply accuse them of lying. So basically, gun idiots blame BOA regardless.....

What was it the guy from the Obama administration said? You crucify the first five guys you find in the village and it makes the village easy to manage for several years!

It's all part of their crap.

So you believe BOA is anti gun even though there is no evidence to support it and a lot of evidence that proves they are not. good freaking grief.

I've never like BoA. They are a corrupt institution and practice, IMO, unethical policies. They tried to screw me on my car loan and when I was deploying they tried to say they didn't have to follow the federal laws with adjusting my interest rates while deployed. I didn't give them an inch, told them to go (*)(*)(*)(*) themselves, got escorted out, and went to Key Bank where they gave me a interest of 6.4% where BoA had me on a 11+% rate.

Thats nice to hear KsigMason, yeah BOA isn't BOA, its Bank of NAU. Thats why its logo changed, to show the new regions which will be incorporated into a larger body...till its one. Hopefully it goes down before that.

What do you expect from a bank that started in California?

I've noticed it is a disturbingly common pattern.
