    This video lays out a compelling case that banning Muslims is constitutional, Muslims do not assimilate, Muslims create impenetrable pockets of religious fanaticism and crime (in Europe and Australia), and that the US is not under any obligation to take in Muslim refugees.

    No, you can't ban Muslims and it is stupid to even suggest that you could or should. What we can do, what we should do, is ban immigration from from Muslim majority countries that support Jihad.

    Additionally, beef up vetting of all immigrants regardless of country of origin I would add.

    What is the logic and reason to oppose banning Muslims?

    What is your standard of proof? Religious belief is a choice. I am what I say I am. This is nothing but bluster - from the same dope who claims he's going to make Mexico pay for a wall that we don't need.

    It's a 12 minute video, ignoring the fact that assimilation takes time and the Muslim Bosnian population seems to have done a pretty good job becoming part of American culture, why should we even consider religion to be the defining factor?

    It is unconstitutional because it violates the freedom of religion. "The governent shall pass no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free practice thereof."

    If the government passes a law banning Islam in the US, it effectively claims the right to dictate which religions are allowed to be practice in the US.

    You can combat extremism without outright banning Islam or any other religion.

    Banning Muslims from entering us not a ban on Islam.

    Did you watch the video? There is no violation of any amendment by restricting Muslims.

    Race and culture would be good defining factors, too.

    I'm all for limiting immigration to whites, Christian levantines, Northeast Asians, and traces of other groups that be vetted on a more individual basis.

    I've looked quite extensively into getting a visa, and it's really very difficult, even for someone on above average income with skills. I would suggest that you make it easier for the right people to come in, and harder for the wrong sort.

    Of course you can ban muslims. Can you ban people who want to come to the USA with the purpose of overthrowing the government? Absolutely. Islam is incompatible with Western style society. There is no requirement in the Constitution to commit national suicide.
