You do a lot of dismissing (running away from the truth). But then what else can you do when you have nothing to engage with.
WTH? Those are as contradictory as two things can be! I know they don't like to read but I thought ALL US students had to pass a Constitution test to matriculate to high school. How on Earth can anybody think Trump is standing for our Constitution? The man tried to get his own VP hurt or possibly killed! It doesn't get more undemocratic than that and the "widespread election fraud" wasn't a lie - it was just him projecting his shady BS onto the Dems.
Will his 30 day to a year country club jail have netflix and disney plus? You guys think this is a win but it isn't. Now lets go after REAL criminals like Pelosi's insider trading husband
Of course if it were investigating Hillary then you would think it was chock full of integrity even if the exact same people were on it.
if it was hillary it wouldn't have gone to trial. They would have said "she said PEACEFULLY and PATRIOTICALLY"....the end Just wait until the revenge happens! This committee of lies has set a new precedent and I predict the right will soon sink to the same low levels, and I don't personally think that is a good thing
Enough to scare bigger potatoes into thinking twice before ignoring subpoenas by the January 6 Committee.
I would be THRILLED to see Republicans trying to build a solid case like this one against and innocent person. It would be a HUGE win for Democrats. Problem is... I don't think Republicans would be stupid enough to try. I mean... they couldn't do it against Hillary. And she looked to me, at a miniimum, very suspicious. And they failed. Again and again, they failed. They ended up just... exonerating them. Embarrassing as hell for them! So, there are two possibilities: either they try to build a case against somebody and fail because the person is innocent, and I'll be happy to see Republicans in congress making fools of themselves again. Or they will try to build a case and succeed because the person is guilty, and I'll be happy to see a corrupt politician in an orange jump suit. Either way, I'm happy.
I doubt it. https://www.voanews.com/a/jan-6-committee-subpoenas-republican-congressmen/6570802.html Like Bannon, they could only find them guilty of contempt of Congress by refusing to comply with the subpoena. By the time this works it way through the courts, this kangaroo court will be shut down.
What nonsense! The committee doesn't have to still exist for those who defy subpoenas to go to trial. Doesn't matter if it takes a year or two years.... they WILL do prison time. Now we know judges are taking none of this crap.
Strawman. Can I borrow your crystal ball when you're done with it? Different strokes for different judges.
I don't believe it was a good idea for his legal team not to present a defense. That would be a negative if they try to appeal this. The best I can guess is they told him that testifying on his own behalf could incriminate him in something more than the original charges. I also don't understand why anyone still in Trump's camp don't "file" these things as suspicious. Trump tried to block cooperating with investigation, denied. Turns over shreds of papers and missing phone records. Secret Service has a "technical" error that only impacted two days. Bannon ignored his subpoena. If a D did ANY of those things, they would raise holy hell. Why all the obstruction if Trump is clean?
If the Democrats didn't have a double standard when it came to holding people accountable perhaps more Republicans would be on board with the 1/6 Committee.
no. they are putting him in epstein's old cell and sending guys out to fix the video cameras. and fresh sheets
Nope six months from now half this lame ass committee is like to be under investigation and deservedly so.
