I have that guy on ignore. I do want to say I hope obama is finished but I am scared that it is still too close. That is how dumb our electorate is. A major scandal (besides Fast and Furious which is being ignored by the media) is being ignored by the media. I wonder if their efforts to coverup the #Benghazigate coverup will get him across the finish line on election day.

 

If that doesn't get him across the finish line the last minute blitz the media does to help Obama win will help him get across the finish. I've paid close attention each election and the liberal mainstream media channels all run stories about how great the democrap is.

 

Your lack of understanding of the policy of a universal healthcare plan is astounding, when you actually look at the statistics our healthcare system we've had costs more government money per individual and works worse in infant mortality rates and preemptive care (which causes higher costs in the long run) than compared to most countries with some form of universal healthcare.

For comparison Americans yearly pay $7,538 annually while people in the UK for example pay around $2,995 annually and get better results in most fields except I think cancer. So for contrast a system in places like France, UK, Switzerland are paying less for better results so I would be more inclined to go with the statistics.

 

See some one about your paranoia.
None of those things are going to happen, they don't anywhere else. Obama care is hardly a first step to single payer as the big scary Govt. has nothing at all to do with your health care. It's still up to your insurance company to screw you blind then deny your claim and let you die.

 

So what would be the best of all solutions is for people who want universal healthcare is for them to move the UK.

Sorry cajun- here in San Francisco and the Bay Area we have things to do other than trying out new possum recipes. I took my child to a class this morning and then went to a beer festival, and then tonight we went to the Ballet.

Then explain why people from those countries come to the US when they have serious illnesses. I have relatives in the UK and what you describe is much different from what they actually have to deal with---long waits, different docs each visit, waits for tests, delays, paperwork. They hate it. I also have relatives that just moved here from Sweden to get away from oppressive socialism. Be careful what you wish for.

I have told you previously that I think SFO is a beautiful place, we stay there every couple of years and go up to Napa and Sonoma. The problem with your city is that the smartest creatures in the city are the seals at the pier. And you thought Israels 8% of GDP spent on health care was GREAT, until I handed you your ass on a platter, AGAIN, with the facts that Israeli's spend 27% of household income out of pocket for health care and 81% of them PURCHASE private insurance to back stop their "WONDERFUL" Universal Health Care. Just as 47% of Medicare beneficiaries go with private insurance companies to back stop OR ELIMINATE our govt health care, Medicare.

Were you AWARE that 45% of the US population is already covered by some type of Govt health care? And that is the ROOT CAUSE for our skyrocketing price increases?

Obama brought in Romney's people when he did his health care built around Romneycare which Romney considered at the time his greatest achievement and now its not? The fact is health care is going up in cost and more and more people are uninsured or underinsured especially those that without government help can't get insured at a cost they can afford.

What is Romney's big plan to replace it, he has none as far as I can see.

 

We don't need to replace it with anything; all we need to do is to dump that monstrosity called obamacare into the toilet where it belongs, and in the process save the taxpayers billions of dollars.

 

and how would that help? how do you propose to insure some 60million americans? how do you propose to control the skyrocketing costs of healthcare?
