    What's really sad is that the lamestream media is touting this approval of Obama by Communists, Marxists, Socialists, dictators and despots around the world is something to be proud of.

    This why the world cant trust Romney and the GOP, because in reality you hate us and merely want everyone to fear you in the hope that no one will dare to cross you.

    Unfortunately it doesnt work like that. Youll have to work with us, and be nice to us. So far its went well, but with Romney and the GOP itll be back to GWB years.

    Romney claimed we aren't liked or respected around the world.

    That appears to be completely wrong.

    Apparently conservatives believe "respected" should mean "we hate and fear you."

    Alkida is probably rooting for Romney! Hope they don't have anything planned to try to turn everyone against Obama before the election. But then, I would think homeland security would be watching for that.

    last night i heard obama tell romney this "YOU DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE END OF THE COLD WAR". yes; obama claimed that romney was ignorant about the end of the cold war; the treaty of reykjavik, and all that.

    TO ME THIS MEANS THAT I MUST SUPPORT OBAMA.

    i have been telling so many (ever so many) americans exactly the same thing.

    and it is true; not many americans actualy know about the end of the cold war. AND
    very many americans do not remember the cold war. "?what was that?"

    GO OUT AND SUPPORT OBAMA - he may work for peace

    No one respects a bully. And eventually if America keeps pushing countries around someone is going to push back if we keep acting like a bully. And the world will just watch.

    Dude, the Treaty of Reykjavik was not the end of the cold war. If fact, the treaty summit collapsed at the last minute and is considered a failure. One could argue that it was the beginning of the end of the cold war as both sides figured out what the other side would concede at Reykjavik and that was considered as the reason why the INF Treaty, signed in Washington DC, succeeded.

    I suspect name recognition is a big factor. I bet Bush would do pretty good in Africa and SE Asia, for instance.

    That's certainly logical. If a president -- and by extension the United States -- is popular outside of the U.S., we should vote against that president.
