yeah. It sounds like people who can act right still have no issue, but the ones with criminal outbursts are the clear problem.
I wonder if they can be spotted somehow.

    does EVERYONE have a gun?
What must one do to obtain a gun?
Do you understand the 2A and what it is?
Do we punish the law-abiding folks in order to try to address the societal issue that we created?

Democrat votes harmed this nation. Do we now outlaw a Democrat vote given the negative impact it had?

That is not how it works in a free society. But, perhaps you don't like free societies

when i was part of the Board for a sports org, we required background checks for all coaches, including volunteers. We also provided a lot of child development stage training as well as training on the sport itself.

99% of the kids in youth sports won't get a college scholarship and 99.99% won't make it to the pros

parents need to understand that; too many believe little Johnny or little Katie are the 1%

    What criminal description?
I quoted your post because it's reference to impulse control was correct when armed with a deadly force. You appear to be moving away from that response.

Guns are legal in America. That's why there is a needless death like this everyday. USA is not a free society, it's a thug nation.

i get that every parent thinks their kid is special, and to them they may be. Reality is they aren’t, I’m not, and most of us are boringly normal. I can’t imagine putting up with all of those parents, many of whom are completely unhinged.

since we already know it’s the criminal here who’s the problem, I’m specifically asking how to identify that potential problem.

it’s intellectually disingenuous to blame the guns and not the criminal. Why do you do this so often, is it because you can’t bear to point out the actual criminal or are you simply afraid to?

I think you want to move away from my post into a comfort zone that feeds a bias, good luck with that. Your original post I quoted was accurate, this "old shoe" rabbit hole you are now digging has space for one and it's already occupied. Enjoy.

I was no fan of his while he was a Denver Bronco. Dirty player that would have been better suited wearing a Raiders uniform.

Thats actually the beauty of firearms. A 150 pound woman can defend herself against a 250+ pound attacking male. Has that ever crossed your brain? What’s she supposed to do? Defend herself with a middle finger and a bag of quarters?

Do you think that this is any different than at a bar, restaurant, public street, etc? People want to solve their problems with firearms any and every way possible. We have road rage, we have We see this with threats to the FBI because the FBI did its job. We see this pretty much everywhere nowadays. We have little league coaches who do the best they can but disgruntled, disrespectful parents want their child to be the star despite having a lack of ability and so forth. So, this does not suprise me and we have been here for quiite a quile now. I think you are just beginning to realize it.

BTW, this happened in my metro area and has made the news locally for a day or two now.

The brother of Aquib Talib had no criminal record prior to that. In fact, a significant number of homicides are actually committed by law-abiding citizens, like the Las Vegas Shooting, the Uvalde Shooting, the El Paso Shooting, and so forth.

I am not arguing gun control, but you cannot blame everything on "criminals" here.

never said your guns were a problem, see, I say hot heads, people that can't control their temper should not carry guns in public, that is just common sense

I know many people that can carry a gun in public without issue, but some I would not trust with a butter knife

the number of spoiled narcissist is increasing, I agree, it's not just the rich anymore

In the case of this story, maybe we don't understand just how important is organized tackle football for 10 year-olds.

well, the uvalde guy had been handled multiple times by law enforcement. While the brother in this story may not have had a criminal record he clearly had serious criminal issues. Normal people don’t exhibit this behavior.

Yes, as a juvenile. But juvenile records do not count once you turn 18, generally. And none of the juvenile incidents were serious enough to warrant juvenile detention or being charged as an adult, were they. So, under the eyes of the background check, he was clean, wasn't he?
