Nothing wrong with that. Just consider the politician class as a whole.

I do not completely buy the contention that Covid 19 was "natural". It is a disaster but did it escape out of some ChiCom laboratory? If God is such a great nice guy he would not have let children suffer and die. Years ago he let my son die and he owes me an answer and "it is God's plan " as an answer is BS.

In the left's effort to demonize Ben Carson, they have somehow perpetuated the myth that someone can complete medical school and become a neurosurgeon while at the same time being stupid and lacking common sense.

Great job guys. You have taken group think to a whole new level.

It’s amazing there are people who believe an educated person can’t lack common sense or do or say stupid things.

It is not amazing or even surprising that you changed the meaning of what I said. Ben Carson is not only a very educated person, he is a very successful neurosurgeon. I have a hard time imagining a stupid person or one lacking common sense being a very successful neurosurgeon.

Exactly. Some people seem to have a hard time grasping this concept.

And allegedly your god created it ALL....all the disease, all the evil, all the natural disasters….he really is doing a lousy job of something you claim he's in charge of..

Yeah, people believe that god created all the suffering to separate the worthy (believers) from the non-worthy (non-believers). If that were the case, god would not be benevolent, but rather vindictive. If you spite him by non-believing, you'd go to hell, rather than heaven. That's a loyalty test that would be worthy of Trump, not someone who gave his own son's life to save mankind.

Ya, it's rather nasty that good people, believers, have to suffer as much as bad people to prove some kind of unnecessary "point".
What kind of fiend makes children suffer??

Then, if this "god" does exist, he is evil.

"Carson has received numerous honors for his neurosurgery work, including more than 60 honorary doctorate degrees and numerous national merit citations.[16] In 2001, he was named by CNN and TIME magazine as one of the nation's 20 foremost physicians and scientists, and was selected by the Library of Congress as one of 89 "Living Legends" on its 200th anniversary.[10] In 2008, Carson was bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States.[17] In 2010, he was elected into the National Academy of Medicine.[18] He was the subject of the 2009 TV film Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story, where he was portrayed by Cuba Gooding Jr."

He might be considered god's gift to the medical world but we'll never know the answer to my question. It's o.k. that we don't agree.

So then, Carson didn't take personal responsibility - resulting in his contracting the virus. For a doctor, who should know about contagious diseases, one would think that he would have taken great action to ensure his own safety. He didn't. Stupid decision. His lack of personal responsibility was stupid. His actions (or inactions) were stupid. And if his stupidity resulted in others around his contracting the virus, that stupidity is compounded.

Oh it was Herman Cain who died of Covid months ago, not Ben Carson. I stand corrected.

We live in a sinful fallen world. We are all except the living who are saved at the moment of the 2nd coming going to die sometime somehow. This world has evil people who do bad things that end up killing good people. Whether by war or genocide, mass murder, unleashing a WMD if that’s what covid is, etc. Then there are natural disasters such as weather events, wild fires, earthquakes, disease breakouts such as the Spanish flu and perhaps the China virus. Then there are man made accidental disasters like car, train wrecks, airplane crashes, ships sinking. Then there’s more routine personal illness and accidents that can take lives before old age. Satan has this world for now. Blaming God for death caused by the effects of his rebellion against God and our being the only creation of his that did fall with Satan into rebellion, is what Satan wants us to do. Losing loved ones before their time or our expected time is indeed hard and it’s ok to ask why. God is live and His primary concern is for our eternal soul so that we might spend eternal life with Him and not be on the dark side facing eternal death after the years we live here and now.
