Exactly - most people when they cry "Socialism" have no clue what they are talking about. I have spent numerous posts trying to explain to one poster that "wealth redistribution" - via taxes and other things - is Socialism.

 

How is it undermining “ my” economy if I pay half as much for persecution drugs and if I’m on Medicare, I pay fking $250 less per month for 20% coverage.....all which reduces everyone else payroll tax burden to an amount less then they pay for premiums. Even conservative Heritage said Bernie’s plan will save a Trillion over the next ten years. Hysterical hiw facts are less important then labels. You’d rather have no insurance and die early but call yourself a what ? A dead capitalist ? Move to New Hampshire. I’ll be a live democratic capitalist - socialist...

 

And giving huge tax breaks to the rich, is corporate socialism. Which should the middle class be....poor corporate socialists, or better off democratic socialists ?

 

If done properly - Universal healthcare would save 1.75 Trillion dollars per year - and 17 Trillion over 10 years.

 

He loves preaching about the evils of wealth and he's all about wealth redistribution. That's enough for me to call him what he is. He also supports employee ownership.

 

Ironically, if the DNC functioned like the democracy that our political leftists pretend to worship then they would have no choice but to award Bernie with the nomination; but everyone -- including those very same leftists if they were being honest -- already know that the corrupt DNC has got absolutely no intention of seeing Socialist/Marxist Bernie square off against uber-capitalistic Trump. Our political leftists will therefore either pretend -- again -- that the methods that the DNC will use to subvert the course of democracy are perfectly legitimate OR they will pretend that no such thing is happening . . . right before their very eyes.

Free college is no more free then public high hool. You want to eliminate public highschool ?
Cause to get a good paying job now, college now is as important as HS used to be.

Exactly - which is why Trump is a bigger Socialist than Sanders on this issue. Trump is for the status quo = maintain the 3.5 Trillion dollar spend. UHC is done in other first world nations at half the cost of what we pay.

A reduction in this spend is a reduction in Socialism.

Of course, public school are tax funded. Mostly, colleges are not. So his plan is to eliminate a person paying tuition and make everyone else pay. Classic wealth redistribution, yet another example.

You were the one that was saying that wealth redistribution happened under Stalin - a true statement. The problem was when you tried to claim that any form of wealth redistribution was USSR style communism - in which case that makes Trump a USSR style communist.
