Depends how you source your numbers. Fivethirtyeight presents an average of all major polls. It shows Biden 2 points ahead at the same stage..

Real Clear Politics at post #42 gives us the true picture. Funny how left leaners used those numbers for Trump for 4 years and now they are focused on some left leaning poll to claim something that isn't true.

 

It would seem I was misinformed. But not by much. It had been 0 for the preceding year and a half, and only 7 for the 6 month period before that. You can't hardly run a training exercise of any significant size without that kind of casualty rate.

Regardless, my overall point remains... We had the Taliban completely contained, and wrapped in a box from which they couldn't get out of, with a force of only 2,500 troops and a near zero fatality rate. I would personally rather have completely destroyed them making even that unnecessary, but that would have, at least for a short amount of time, resulted in a higher fatality rate, at least for the Taliban.

Either way, Senor Biden ordered the US military to surrender to a bunch of cowardly thugs that we had essentially neutered to the point of irrelevancy, at least until after the surrender. I expect they've killed thousands, if not more, since we ran away with Biden's tail between his legs.

 

Compromise on what? Free daycare? Free community college? Keeping an unnecessary expanded child tax credit? Don't you think we've already got too many people sucking at the gubmint teat, we need to create more??

Interesting, if anecdotal, story about that tax credit. One of my local news channels did a story on it before the Ukraine thing started grabbing all the headlines. They had some lady on, who was complaining about losing that extra money that she used "to buy my kids shoes". Meanwhile, in the background is a really nice looking home, perhaps an apartment, and hanging on the wall was a 60" or 65" flat panel TV.

If you can afford that sort of TV, you can buy your own kid's damn shoes.

 

For better accuracy always subtract at least 10 points from any poll measuring the approval of DP politicians to adjust for the well documented polling blind spot and political bias.

Biden left Americans and allies abandoned in Afghanistan
Trump actually got SIGNED peace accords in the Middle East.
Biden makes COVID vaxxing mandatory for Americans but not for illegal immigrants.
Trump gave the military its first real pay raise in years.
Biden seeks to restrict the second Amendment.
Trump clobbered ISIS (captured their largest city – Mosul and their capital city - Raqqa.
Biden armed the terrorist Taliban.
Trump allowed terminal patients to use drugs not fully tested that might offer hope.

Biden has allowed the opioid disaster to grow and grow by opening the borders.
Biden killed pipeline jobs and US energy independence.
Trump got us back in space on US-made rockets.
Biden got 13 US Soldiers killed at the Kabul airport.
Trump made us energy-independent.
Biden opened our border... WIDE OPEN
Trump supported the 2d amendment
Biden indoctrinates our kids with racist "Critical Race theory"

Biden has done nothing to support the police as our cities experience tremendous growth in murder and violence.

Biden is causing outrageous inflation.

There was no “supply chain” disaster under Trump as there is under Biden.

Gas was about a buck and a half cheaper under Trump.

People weren’t being banned from social media for speaking their minds under Trump.

Parents counted under Trump. Under Biden (and you, by the way)… they don’t.

Regardless, I believe Biden, an adult is still much better than the childish president of Trump with his name calling and throwing of temper tantrums like a 4 year old spoiled brat along with his 3rd grade schoolyard bullying tactics.

I can live with the grownup Biden even if I disagree more than agree with him. He beats the heck out of the very unpresidential, very rude and uncouth Trump.

 

The poll is crap. Compare the topline with the response from Independents. In a trustworthy poll, after the GOP and Democrats cancel each out out, the top line generally conforms fairly closely to the Independent's. In this crap poll the topline diverges wildly from the response of Independents, and no recent polls confirm in the RCP average confirm the crap pro-Biden poll.
