The laws are being enforced much more strictly. Many people say we just need to enforce the laws on the books and not make new ones so this is how that would happen.

Do you disagree with any of those items?

    Mini guns can however.
What about RPGs. Should they be allowed and easily accessible on every street corner?

Voting via a free and fair election
Which is what makes what many Republicans are pushing for so dangerous

I'm glad you asked! How do we normally address culture problems? The preponderance of black people aren't happy about it, I’ll wager they’d love to stop being preyed upon by people in their own community.

I believe that the second amendment does and should allow for it. However… I’m not advocating for cheap RPG’s

I also would love to see the public one RPG’s. We have access to guns that can literally lock onto anything they want from a mile away and almost guarantee a direct hit. The reason you don’t see gangbangers with them is because they’re extremely expensive just like an RPG would be.

Oh, those who hate the 2nd Amendment like to drag in "tanks", "nukes", and whatever else excites their incandescent imaginations. Don't pay any attention to this kind of half-witted, juvenile nonsense from them. After all, they're desperate not to 'let a crisis go to waste'....

Interesting indeed. Sounds like the SC might be in the process of restoring some of my faith in it as an institution.

Sounds like an agenda to me.
I'm not sure it's enforcement. This president has proven in the past that he's happy to bend the rules and flat out break them (fast and furious).
    I'm suspicious and I think it's justified.

I think what saying it isn't absolute means I don't get to have a nuclear weapon. There have to be limits.

Predicting decisions based on oral arguments is always tenuous business, but, that's the way the discussion went. The "responsibility to protect" wasn't part of the case until they started discussing how to make sure the "exceptions" where the government could mandate disarming was sufficiently bounded that it swallow up the right. For example if the State could declare a several block area around every school and government building a "gun free zone" they could institute a de facto gun ban. And from there the discussion went to whether the government would then assume an affirmative duty to protect those they insisted disarm, which makes a lot of sense to me.

Hopefully these case come out as favorable to Freedom and Liberty as the hints indicate.

I wonder what 'an affirmative duty to protect' actually means. Seems to me the govt could just 'affirm that duty' but do nothing about it and claim 'well we need a lot more taxes to protect you.' And it goes back into the system for the SC to hear again in a couple more years...

Well, it wouldn't bring you back to life, but, if they have that duty and violate it, it would mean that your survivors could recover for damages, which is more than they can do now.

And with that ability to recover their casualty insurance carriers will be requiring that they protect the exposure if they want the better priced insurance.

If you are really grossly negligent or simply ignore clear and obvious hazards you can be liable for punitive damages, which generally are extremely expensive and often uninsurable.

No it isn't. All rights have limits. This was established long ago.

You really should take an introduction to Government class and learn the basics.

The America you imagine has never existed. It only exists in your fantasies.

A fair point. Biden is suffering dementia. He doesn't think clearly. He isn't going to be able to ban 9mm pistols. DeSantis, on the other hand, has all of his mental faculties. He isn't going to be able to defy the constitution either.

On a personal note, I view the republican party as being to the left of me. If were to pick a next president from the awful choices, I would choose DeSantis. For that reason I am disappointed that he got out of his lane on this issue. It doesn't help.

It took you 35 words to offer up zero solutions to addressing the problem. Congrats

Well, we the people are not going to accept any limits on constitutional rights coming from him or from progressives. Not going to happen from either of them except by coercion and brute force that would render the rest of the constitution moot as well.

Rapists should be hung. After a trial of course. But they should literally be put to death and any woman found of making a false claim should suffer the same fate.

I credit the black crime rate to drugs. But no one wants to here that either.

Both are off topic though, just thought I would add my 2 cents

Let me ask you a question now.

do you think that the founders add shall not be infringed as a joke?

You have still failed to answer the question, which of those items do you not agree with.

How is enforcing those rules suddenly an “agenda”.

Should we not be enforcing laws on the books?

Half the population is not a culture upon itself. Black Americans have a culture.

When that half of the country commits almost all violent crime there is an issue.

Again, why is it that men seem unable to control themselves? What should we do about it?

I was unaware I was responsible for cleaning up the messes of an entire community. I'll let you fix them. You and Biden can fix this, since they can't get their **** together and we're paying for it in crime and lives.

But YOU were the one who stated "Address those issues and murder dries up by half!" and yet you have nothing to offer. So you're just a empty as the rest of them. Got it.
I have no desire to fix the issues. You seem to be arguing against a position I don't hold.
