Notice I say only "relieved", I see nothing in this event to be gleeful about. We stopped a crazy and incompetent person from doing more damage, that is all. Now sane people will get a chance to fix the damage done.

Biden-Harris do not worry me much, except on the Second Amendment. I expect to have to fight them on infringements they will attempt to put into place. In the past this one issue would have kept me voting for the Republican. In this case, there was no Republican running for President, there was only the Traitor Trump and his personal cult of personality.

There is no small irony in the appointment of Amy Coney Barrett. I anticipate her being a major obstacle to more stupid anti Second Amendment laws, and hopefully she is the vote needed to overturn existing laws.

For the most part I've no objection to Biden removing Trump's executive orders. Most of those orders do not do anything, they posture and proclaim and serve as public relations fodder. Some are in fact bad ideas, such as pulling billions from the DoD construction budget for his wall. The military needs that money badly, and the border does not that wall.

The border needs considerable improvements to official ports of entry to detect drug and human smuggling. Drugs especially, most of what comes up from Mexico enters at the ports, not on foot over the desert. Trump spent nothing on ports. Nothing on VISA enforcement either, and most illegal entry is from legal entries overstaying their Visas.

 

The incoming President has promised to open the borders, obliterate our energy independence, import as many savages as possible, and assume federal control of our healthcare. You talk about doing damage. Son, you haven't even seen what real damage looks like yet. These fools are celebrating in the streets totally unaware that within a years time they will have less money, less security, less opportunity, and less freedom. Republicans traded away their country for a few months of anti-mask tantrums, but Democrats traded away that same country to Marxist-progressives for the chance to circle jerk over a Trump defeat.

 

He may also have to reinstate Fauci. I suppose we’ll see in the coming days what president lardtard does in a fit of rage.
