I've spent the past few years listening to the Right (unlike those on my side who never EVER listen to their compatriots across the aisle), and I think I've probably encountered a single bona fide white racist in all that time. And he was very open and pragmatic, not in the least hateful or emotional about it. Every other white racist I've encountered over that same period (and there have been far too many) was a Progressive Leftist.

 

Feels more like a nation's slow and dull death in a nursing home, instead of 'who knows what will happen next' youthful chaos.

I actually listen, as shocking as that is to so many on my side. And shock of all shocks, I listen with respect.

Once again, the vast majority of white racists are now amongst the Progressive Left, with few on the Right. And those that do exist on the Right, declare themselves openly. They're not that most vile kind of racist .. the cloaked, stealth racist. The kind which paternalises and denies agency, and calls it love.

 

Won't ever happen. They'll make sure Black Americans stay as disenfranchised as possible, and keep their middle/upper class white power base sweet by pandering to their essential supremacism. That's a magical combination as is, but when you throw in the carrot of a free ride through life, well ....

 

Once again, that says more about you than it does about what’s actually happening. We know that the right are becoming more and more radicalized and groups like white supremacists has been growing in size. All it sounds like you’re doing is saying “my side isn’t racist because racist means whatever my opponent says and not what my side says.”
