    What's the BS part?

If SCOTUS appointees are so unbiased in their interpretation, then why all the fuss over who to appoint and to do so so quickly?

When the left loses, its first reaction - once it stops kicking and screaming long enough to wipe the tears from its eyes and snot from its nose - is to try to change the rules to its advantage.

BUT.. since the Democrats seem OK wit packing the court, they won't oppose Trump adding 2 more conservative justices.

To send the left into apoplexy.
    And it worked.

Because the leftist want Justices who will exert bias and rule on emotions, the right wants Justices who go by the Constitution.

What was it the right loves to mock recently? “Elections have consequences”

As I have ever said, the bare majority of 53% was prior to this last stunt — lets see how it dives

So the only reason the right pushed her through was to cause the left to become unconscious? Maybe you should look up that word before using it in a sentence

Strange how the right went from actual policy to existing only to troll the majority of the nation

Certainly hope not and the Republicans should do so to preempt the Democrats. My reading of the Constitution says it's between the Senate and the President to establish how many justices.

"He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments."

It's all between the President and the Senate unless the Congress gives the President sole power in selecting inferior judges. It's been done by both house in the past but the Constitution does not state that is required.

There are a variety of ideas out there for reforming the Supreme Court. The central concept being to remove the power of either side to force the court to conform to a partisan political view. Rotating the justices is one way, there are others.

Basically, rotating involves all Federal Appeals Court justices being in a pool. A random means would call some to serve on the Supreme Court for a fixed period. Then they would return to their prior position. Still a lifetime appointment to the Federal courts, the President still nominates, the Senate still has advise and consent authority. But the power of the political parties to hammer out a court to the majority's preference is greatly weakened.

This is entirely within the Constitutional authority of Congress. Not saying I like it or dislike it. I will say I'd like to see the current composition of the Supreme Court apply Strict Scrutiny to strike down countless laws infringing upon upon the Second Amendment.

After that, hey, have at it .

His short list is Holder, both clintons, both obamas and Hunter.
