You can see that they took the 4.0% and 0.7% of that income line from the Tax Increase columns and wrote a bloviating opinion piece about hiking taxes on people. Meanwhile, it seems they completely ignore the fact that 28.5% of taxpayers in the same income bracket will see a decrease.

I'm left to wonder what the specifics are for why this tiny percentage of taxpayers would see a minor tax increase. Whatever it is, obviously it won't apply to the vast majority of people in that income bracket, many more of whom will see a tax decrease instead.

 

Just having "made over a trillion last year" does not mean much. Return on investment is what counts.
