The point is, lighten up. Trump is gone. The sun is out. The worst is behind us. Trump is likely going to be busy fending off civil suits and criminal prosecutions and without Twitter, we won't have to read his incessant whining about how unfair it is being help accountable for his crimes. Question: If a Trump is convicted of fraud and treason and he can't Tweet about it, does he make a sound? I guess we will leave that to the philosophers.

I have no problem with Trump being gone. I have a problem with people like you preferring to blame Americans for a virus that came from China. Buying into the lie that 1/4 of all Covid deaths are here.

 

Using the lib logic and rhetoric every American who dies after 1/20 has been murdered by Joe Biden.

 

I am not the poster who claimed 1/4 of the deaths occurred here, although I have also seen that figure and have no reason to doubt it. If you believe the number is wrong, please give a credible source with a different figure.

While it is true the virus originated in China, the severity of the virus on the American population was almost completely the fault of the Trump admin. Before the pandemic hit, he disbanded the pandemic team stationed in China. Wouldn't that have been a great early resource especially as China was lying to us in the beginning. Also, before the Pandemic, he slashed the budgets of the CDC and other agencies that deal with Pandemics. He refused to follow the Pandemic playbook because it was written by the Obama admin. Instead of allow the scientists to take the lead, he relied on the Demon seed doctor and Dr. Atlas who championed quack "cures" like hydroxychloraquine and going for "herd immunity." He refused to use the Defense Production Act to get the necessary PPE with resulted in states bidding against each other for necessary materials.

Even making wearing masks a culture war issue helped spread the disease and increase the body count.

Once the pandemic started, people were always going to die. Even if all the best people were in charge, and even if all the best information was disclosed and followed. But, the horrific amounts of deaths could have been avoided if Trump had been even marginally competent and intelligent. We suffered a once in a century calamity at the same time we had the least intelligent, least competent, least caring president in our country's history. I has truly been a perfect storm and our country will suffer the effects for a very long time.

 

If you are a nurse, you are too intelligent for that dumb remark. Biden should be able to reduce some deaths by competent management, but the United States' response has been made by the Trump admin, and the attitudes against mask wearing and social distancing, and the nonexistent vaccine infrastructure will continue to result in many deaths, and these deaths will remain on Trump's ledger, not Biden's. Although at this point, that doesn't matter to the people who die and the people who loved them.

 

Then why hasn't Biden reduced deaths? What are his policies to do so? Is he too busy with making sure trans folks can compete in athletics?

 

According to YOUR illogic the cops investigating a serial killer are responsible for everyone who dies right after they figure out that there is a serial killer on the loose.
