There has been a ton of presidents before Trump who were elected with less than 50% of the vote: Hayes, Garfield, Cleveland (twice), Harrison, Wilson (twice), Truman, Kennedy (50.08%), Nixon, Clinton (once and damn near twice), and Bush43. Hillary in a losing cause got less than 50% of the vote which I assume means that her election by a minority would have been just swell by the current protesters.

By definition and simple math if someone is elected with less than 50% of the vote that someone lost the popular vote count.

Trump got millions less votes than Hillary, but the white nationalist votes probably did save him in swing states where he only won by a few thousands, so yes, the deplorables gave Trump the election

 

I put this in another thread but wanted to leave it here for you.

So I make this prediction not based upon feeling but based upon math. Democrats have banked their strategy on a large number of mail in ballots. They wanted to overwhelm the republicans with early voting so that come Election Day the republicans had too much ground to make up. They need AT LEAST a 2:1 advantage for that strategy to have a chance at winning. Furthermore a poll recently came out asking who had voted already. Slightly more than 50% of democrats stated they had already voted with slightly less than 25% of republicans saying they had already voted.

I looked at early voting numbers and especially the states that report early votes by party affiliation. If the state didn’t have AT LEAST 150% more democrats in early voting as republicans i marked it as a trump win. If they had more than 225% I marked it as a Biden win.

If they had between 150-225% advantage for democrats in early voting, I doubled the democrats number and increased the Republican number by 75%. The resulting map looks like this and is therefore my prediction.

I've no idea why you linked to an article about Nate Silver. It has nothing to do with your list of Trump's "accomplishments" or my reply.

What "leaps out" for me is that you made a list of claims, but proved none of them. Then, when challenged, you became angry, as Trump supporters usually do.

I made no claims that I believe any of the polls. The only poll that matters is the one they're taking on Nov. 3. I can hope, but unlike others here, including yourself, I don't pretend to predict.

It means that Trump is president because of minority rule, not majority.

 

So? We have almost 20% of the total U.S. population living in two states. People are leaving both New York and California in droves due to failed one-party Democrat leadership.

Most of the country doesn't want to live like them. That's a major benefit of having an electoral college. We aren't forced to live under one-party authoritarian oppression.
