Exactly this. Both Republicans and Democrats have failed the Republic, and have put the nation on its last civil legs. One party is incapable of any social reform, the other is more concerned with ghosts of the past. A new political leadership is necessary, one that is capable of unifying the citizenry and ending the ghost chasing legacy of the present leadership.

There was an awful lot of lipstick in this post. First, Biden doesn't seem to understand constitutional federalism. Second, he hasn't otherwise achieved anything with his bill or his executive order. It cannot overcome the basic separation produced in federalism that would or could change how a state might legislate their own processes for holding elections. When states like CA set up systems that create inherent fraud, even the feds have little if any influence in changing them. If the courts get involved, neither of these two efforts may endure.

What does help elections? Confidence. Confidence that your vote was actual counted, not papered over by folks who would submit illegitimate ballots associated to voters who don't live at addresses that don't exist but still populate the voter roles. And Transparency. Providing proof that when you vote, you're actually registered to vote, and are a legal voter. When democrats demand that everyone can vote, they are referring to folks that aren't legal voters, restricted from voting by law, or are otherwise non existent.

When Joe said "we have the greatest voter fraud folks working for us"... we was telling the public the truth.

I'm sure you won't get the nuance of what I'm about to say (since you are completely off the topic of voting rights), but I'd rather have people be allowed to vote themselves money over being able to determine their own voters...

Something I bet old Ben never considered

And obstruction weenies clearly works best in this context...

I didn't mean you specifically. I was talking about Democrats in general. To most of them showing photo ID means racists are after them again. I still don't see why it's a big deal.

Really? Thanks for sharing. That gives me a false sense of security that mail in voting isn't just a big scam to make sure the same parties keep getting elected over and over. But then I wake up the next morning and our political structure is still down the toilet.

Why a false sense of security? Guess my name, print a phony ballot, then guess the last four of my SSN. Good luck. And while you're at it, you'll need to guess my signature and forge it. Virtually impossible. Think.

Vote harvesting is still a thing today I thought everybody knew that. Sorry if I opened up any old wounds.

This is why the argument is so confusing to me. It just doesn't make a lick of sense.

We're dealing with people who don't question anything, as long as it comes from Trump. Trump makes no sense, they're gonna make no sense. Sense is on the back burner.

This poster wants to place more restrictions. Or is inquiring about more restrictions.

I said nothing about eligible voters. Only stated a poster want more restrictions.
