Oops, I watched a movie on netflix. I guess I dont care either? I honestly didn't see the point in investing time, my ballot is filled out and ready to go and so is my wife's. Nothing left to learn about either candidate.
I thought that it turned out very well for Trump for numerous reasons... 1) Trump looked very likable in comparison to that overly bitchy hag ragging on him every chance she got. 2) The overly bitchy hag put on full display just how hostile the media are towards Trump. If one were watching the debates side by side, or even if one tuned into the Biden one after the Trump one, it was light and day how Trump was treated compared to how Biden was treated. 3) The black lady over Trump's left shoulder created the perfect "subliminal messaging" optics, always nodding her head to everything that Trump was saying. Somebody at NBC is going to get fired for that one... 4) Trump didn't fall for a single one of the wench's "gotcha" questions, and skated past them all beautifully. 5) He mentioned some of his achievements regarding black people (prison reform, etc.), and kept shifting the focus back over to what is NOT being asked of Biden (especially with regard to Antifa). Overall, he went into the lion's den and did a pretty darn good job. Meanwhile, the Joe town hall (the final 1/2 hour of it, anyway, but presumably the whole thing) was nothing more than Joe being able to say whatever he wanted to without any interruption or "fact checking", as happened to Trump the whole time, and Joe's questions all basically amounted to "Can you please talk bad about Trump?" and Joe answering "Sure, I'd be glad to do so!" ... It was pathetic. They didn't even call out Joe for lying about fracking, and lying about the Green New Deal (or the "New Green Deal", as Joe called it), and they didn't even touch on the current email scandal regarding Hunter and his dealings... Joe looked like he was reading from a teleprompter the whole time, always staring off into space away from the moderator and the questioner... Joe is weak... Joe is tired... Joe is not fully there mentally... Trump is strong... Trump is energized... Trump is fully there mentally... How much ya wanna bet that Joe comes down with covid before the final debate? They absolutely won't let him do it, since Trump will keep attacking Joe about Hunter's emails and dealings with China/Ukraine/Russia, etc...

She nagged him about denouncing white supremacy, YET AGAIN, after he's done so fifty million times over the last four years... He handled her bullshit beautifully, and as far as I am concerned, her demonically possessed self can rot in hell...

This one always gets me... Obviously Joe has never been a cop himself, or been on a ride-along, or gone through the rigorous training and situations that cops go through. The real world isn't a situation where everything can be paused for a second so that one can get off one very accurate shot to the leg... I simply don't see it that way. I see it as her having thrown a lot of the questions out there quickly to get clarified responses so people could focus on more substantive issues. These were style point questions as much as anything else.

Suicide bombers have done less damage to themselves than Trump did at his town hall. Everyone especially liked how he embraced the Q-anon violent antisemite conspiracy cult. Trump, who has retweeted many things from Q-anon accounts, actually pretended he knew nothing about them. Poor sickly Trump could only last 60 minutes. Biden went 95 minutes. In the stamina department, Biden whups Trump easily. Compared to Biden, Trump looks like a sickly old man, raving mindlessly due to his extreme dementia. There was also that part where Trump bragged about ordering an extrajudicial execution of an American citizen. That's fascist brownshirtism on steroids, and we know it gave all the Trump cultists a serious tingle up the leg. The two sides are total opposites. Liberals condemn violence, while the Trump cult endorses violence.
We all perceive things differently. That's fair. As for me, she came across as a rabid attack dog, foaming at the mouth with a plethora of "gotcha" questions. It was VERY off-putting, and actually leads me to sympathize with Trump more than anything... I don't see it that way, since "quickly" actually ended up being 1/3 of the total one-hour presentation... That was A LOT of wasted time debating that could've been used for questions from the planted pre-screened Democrats who were "undecided"...
I would rather see a candidate be challenged than thrown softball pitches all night. It gives me some sense of what they would be like when squaring up against foreign leaders or the opposition. So far, I can't say I think Biden handles being challenged well at all. Trump can at least complete sentences when challenged which I suppose is slightly better.
Loved the set up question which allowed Biden to pander to the transgender community per the comments listed below. An appropriate follow-on question would have been someone asking Biden if their high school daughter had to shower before/after gym class with a dude who had a big [deleted] claiming to be a girl.
