    I think Biden now knows that Social Security is eventually going to go bankrupt. Just a few years left now. So, you know, why not increase benefits for the short term?

    And, in the next election cycle, when Republicans come back into power why not blame them for the Social Security failure. That would be 2024, but SS isn't going under until 2025.

    California's law is written in a way that makes it not matter if it's sent to another state first or not. If it originated from overseas and was imported into the United States the company that receives it in California has to prove it didn't come from a sweatshop regardless of whether or not it went to another state first.

    Locking people in a state of penalizing them, potentially preventing them from leaving financially, isn't fascist? Maybe your right. It's a slave labor/owner relationship.

    If your state is so poorly ran, you have to penalize people who desire to leave it... you might just be controlled by shitty policies.
