Then why do liberals keep blaming Trump? And it is on Biden as it happened on his watch. A democracy was attacked by a terrorist country and Biden's actions thus far have proven futile. And now China and Taiwan is going to happen on Biden's watch. See, the world knows the US is at the weakest that it has ever been.

I have to say Biden has not been impressive or give much confidence. He makes me worried if, like an amateur skater, he is going to slip up.
I do hope the Dems can find someone more acute next time.

Let me get this straight: you are saying that we should have acquiesced to Putin, broken up Ukraine, made a policy to not let Ukraine into NATO, let him have his way, but if we didn't it was the US's fault that Putin invaded Ukraine?
Let's just say the Biden administration did that, shut out Ukraine from NATO, separated Donbas and Iuhansk, did whatever to appease Putin. You and many others would be screaming about how Biden was weak and how Trump was so much stronger, this is what happens when Dems are in control, etc.
And what if that wasn't enough? Is there a guarantee that would be? If Putin's goal is to re-unite the Soviet Union, get back the glory days, that wouldn't have been enough.
I think they did the best they could without giving in to threats and hostage taking. I think that even if they did what you are suggesting, it wouldn't be enough.
If you are applying logic, then logically Russia wouldn't have invaded Ukraine. There isn't any other logical reason except to re-unite the old Soviet Union when the cost vs. the gain is examined.
I agree with many things you have stated in the past. IMO, you are completely wrong on this one, and I think it's because you are subconsciously trying to justify your support for Trump, which is a mistake.
Biden isn't the ideal person for president. Let's work for better candidates. Biden loves America, but is getting too old. Trump loves Trump, nothing will ever replace that. We need a new generation of leadership, not a rehash of the same old crap.
Sorry, just calling it like I see it. No disrespect intended.

No, I'm simply saying the situation on the ground changed. The breakaway regions are essentially another way to think of them would be terrorist sleeper cells. Or at the very least, points from which the Russians can launch further incursions into Ukraine. Now, all good and well if you could incorporate them but from the looks of the controversial laws passed by the Ukrainians, they've been unable to do so. So to Ukraine, they're a liability now.

You can't have your cake(Ukrainian sovereignty) and eat it too(areas that don't want to be part of Ukraine.) I've said this when the unrest began in 2014. The areas that want to be part of Russia, should be free to do so and the areas that want to be a part of the EU should do that as well. We've been able to peacefully coexist with the creation of North and South Korea, there's no reason this should be any different.

It's quite possible that Putin wants to recreate the Soviet Union, but seeing the military results it's rather apparent that Russia is not the military power she was in the 30-50's through the 70's. Perhaps in large part because Russia stole the argicultural and manpower of the other Soviet Republic blocs and obviously can no longer do that.

This issue has nothing to do with Trump, it has everything to do with Ukrainian survival and how that would look. For the Ukrainians, they need a Russian Guarantee, not a EU one or a US one, by now we've seen the weakness of both. And I think the breakaway regions are a great place for the Ukrainians to start.

If we/the West don't want to involve ourselves in a war with Putin's Russia, it's also a reality we have to come to as well.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. You know more about Ukraine than I do, and I'm happy to hear that your protest comes from a perspective of what is best for Ukraine, not using it to bash the US leadership (no matter who it is) over the decisions and actions of Putin.
I hope for a speedy peaceful solution. I don't see any benefit from what Putin is doing, and I say Putin, not Russia, because I think that without Putin, Russia wouldn't be doing this. There isn't any easy solution for this. If Putin really had concerns for the Donbas and Iuhansk regions, there seems like there would be better solutions than the one he chose. For example, he could have encouraged Ukraine joining the EU or NATO, which could have led to vast improvements if there were inequities or concerns in those two regions or others.
IN MY OPINION, war is getting outdated. I think we have fewer, less gruesome wars than we have in our past history (world). We have a long way to go, but more and more we find ways to solve problems without wars. Hopefully the trend continues. I don't think I'm being unrealistically optimistic.

Because your definition of “slamming” is just basic criticism something you’re not used to hearing as a Leftist. Has CNN called Biden racist yet for claiming “you ain’t black” unless you vote a certain way? Has he been called insane and a war monger and the cause of WWIII after his comments about Putin? Is he the destroyer of the world, because that’s what the MSM was saying about Trump before he even took office. If you can’t tell the difference I don’t know what to say. You’re in a bubble.

You don't even watch CNN, so I don't belive you.
Bidens been called pedophile, war monger, demented, racist, you ain't white for voting left, etc all of the above plus more.

Nothing he does is good enough for some people in the media, some have even chosen to side with Russia just to make Biden look bad.
All propaganda, look at some of the BS people actually buying here...all from media.

Nice try. I can only tune in during the commute, like I asked where do you get your feed that you miss all the Biden bashing propiganda?

Who in the MSM called him any of those things? Who? Vloggers? YouTubers? We’re talking relevant people? Respected politicians? NY Times? Any politicians call him Hitler or a Russian spy? An entire press room yelling at him? Any giant balloons being flown through cities? Any giant murals on major city streets mocking him? Keep digging your hole. Dig deeper and deeper. :) You don’t understand what the MSM actually is apparently.

Biden is screwed, these conditions he's created will still be in place come November. I hope he continues to call them transitory.

Examples of political policies against Trump in America are:
    (1) Those who hate capitalism
    (2) Those who say they're conservative but hate conservativism...Neocons, er, for examples, the Bush family the Cheney family and Mitt Romney.
    (3) Those who're actually against democracy yet adamantly say they're for democracy...Nancy Pelosi, er, it seems, most congresscritters fit into this category. Those who wanted to accept the results of the pandemic rules election of 2020 say they're for democracy when they're against democracy.
