I suppose he would have been a respected businessman if anything about the false image he created about himself were true. But as we know he almost squandered the nearly billion dollar fortune he extracted from his dad, unbelievably failed in the casino biz, cheated contractors, engaged in a tax evasion scheme, declared multiple bankruptcies, defrauded investors, set up a sham real estate "university," refuses to release his tax returns, got busted over stealing from his charitable foundation, etc. etc.

Depending on the source, he got about a million dollars from his father. He is now worth 3.7 billion dollars. That is about a 3,600,000 percent return on investment. I wish I had done so well. Even, if he got a billion dollars from his father, he did very well. Most people handed a million dollars will end up broke within a very few years.

Trump is a wealthy man in his own right. But don't waste your time trying to convince the Trump haters. They are as blind as a bat and jealous as Olive Oyl.

Trump made a number of excellent points when the question of advising congress first. The most definitive was that doing so would make sure that the pending secret attack would be leaked in advance by sleazy politicians who would sell their souls for some prime-time exposure and a chance to blast Trump. At this point in time, the congress is about as leak-proof as the colander in your kitchen you use to strain spaghetti, and on the whole can't really be trusted with any important information. There certainly are some trust-worthy people there, but there is also a pack of coyotes. Might as well send the plans of attack to the WP.

Makes you wonder whose side they are really on- and I know it's not mine.

The JCPOA was working to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. It's provisions prevented them from developing one in the future. Now Iran is developing one again. Another example of a Trump failure.

Long ago there was a story about a guy who was continually snapping his fingers in a bar.
A man came over and asked him why he was doing that, and he replied "It keeps the elephants away!"
The first man said- but, there are no elephants here!
The second man responds- Yeah! It really works, doesn't it!!

The illusion that having an agreement is the same as having a working agreement seems to satisfy many- but of course, that's not unlike the guy in the bar snapping his fingers.
Trump won not only the round, but the game of the moment, and will probably win the match.

    You can keep snapping.
    I'm keeping score.
