    Understood. Thank you.
Although I did ask that my account be removed/deleted because I am fundamentally opposed to any sort of control over free speech, until the mods take that action, I can say that I appreciate those that support the premise of what these bikers did to assure that we - as a community - were taking care of each other.

I heard this story the other day on NPR. These are impressive people, I've known a lot of bikers over the years (I am not one myself) and for the most part, they are decent good people. I think what these guys are doing is worthy.

I know you believe your good intentions are enough. Results don't matter, only how big your heart is. Maybe we can get a hash tag going to REALLY let abused kids know how much we care for them. What do you say?

You must really get irritated by the "Make a Wish Foundation".....

First of all, I'd like to see a source for some of this information. Half the babies born today are illegitimate? Let's back that up with some sound support.

Secondly, do you think child abuse didn't exist prior to the 1960s?

Nope. They actually help kids, even one that I know who died of cancer at the age of 7. Comparing them to bikers riding around telling everyone how much they care about child abuse is just silly. But that's the kind of "charity" that Leftists do these days, the useless symbolic kind.

What a sadly hypocritical and ignorant position.

Whether it is a lack of reading comprehension, or whether it is some prejudice against bikers, or maybe its a prejudice against every organization except "Make a Wish' that helps kids.

These bikers are doing a great service that no one else in society seems to be doing. Perhaps no one else is capable of doing.
They don't just ride around proclaiming support.
These victims of child abuse are scared to death. They're scared of their abuser, they're scared of the entire legal system they find themselves thrust into. Police and defense attorneys relentless questioning. Turning the victim into the guilty.
Through this entire ordeal the bikers stand by these abused children. I mean literally stand by them to protect them. They are beside them going into court, during court and after court. If the situation warrants it they will park outside the kids house so the child can sleep at night knowing they will live though the night. They are their guardian angels that are bigger and tougher than the adult that abused them. These are the only adults who have not abandoned these children.

For gods sake who would disparage a guardian angel?
