    Yes.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/sturgis-...12-billion-in-healthcare-costa-182736696.html

    Here is the paper:

    http://ftp.iza.org/dp13670.pdf

Predictable, no? Gather 400,000 people, no masks, no social distancing, in the middle of a freaking pandemic of an airborne disease, and yep, it happens.

266,796 cases! Wow! How is that, for a spike?

Do I seem like a person who is uninformed on science, politics, business, etc.? I welcome anyone to offer evidence I am. Somehow I’ve obtained my knowledge without the NYT.

Perhaps it’s a fine paper for the whole world except me. To me it has no value. I’m sure I have sources of information and entertainment you’ve never even heard of. You have access to sources of information I do not. Our life choices dictated how that works out for the individual. What has value to one individual doesn’t to another. Seems logical and simple to me.

I don’t need any more houses and my time is better spent doing other things than polling on the NYT. But thanks for the humorous response, I do enjoy levity mixed with serious discussion.

I have not objected to fees. I clearly stated they are free to do as they like and I’m free to do business with them or other businesses I like better. My dislike for the NYT doesn’t make me anti capitalist. I doubt there is anyone at PF any more die hard capitalist than I. The current political divide is keeping the lights on at the Times and good for them as capitalists for taking advantage of it. But prior to the Trump administration they were in pretty serious trouble. You are welcome to present evidence this isn’t true. I don’t care what Trump says, all I care about are facts. Show me where I’m wrong and I’ll be happy to be corrected. But don’t say I’m wrong because Trump happens to say something similar to a statement of mine.

Defenders of the official narrative have chosen a very weak position, so it's natural for many of them to describe those who question the official narrative as Trumpsters. When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.

The problem is in that thread I showed we are missing enough just by faulty PCR testing to get to your numbers. And asymptotic percentages have nothing to do with how many are diagnosed by PCR. Huge numbers of both symptomatic and asymptomatic are never tested. I don’t know anyone who believes we can get to an accurate number by looking at PCR results. If you do, present it to the forum.

Since the beginning public policy decisions have been made on grossly inaccurate and misleading numbers, and the chorus sings "science".

    Truth is stranger than fiction.

19% of new cases in the country due to this - and completely predictable

The only winner here is Charles Darwin... and maybe Joe Biden??

Propagandists for agenda use numbers as a tool to deceive the credulous. The Covid numbers have been wildly manipulated since the start, and massaging numbers about Sturgis are child's play for those in control.

George lies, and Henry swears to it. Child's play.

Of course not, the WuFlu only spreads at Trump rallies, churches, motorbike rallies, beaches and mom and pop stores.

If PF hired you to create content, and you failed to negotiate a salary, that's on you. They didn't hire me, so I'm not expecting a paycheck.

It's a sorta trade, we get to post here free of charge and we increase the value of a forum by volume of activity though as far as I know, they dont sell ads.

People who are journalists need their paycheck. I'm convinced that our quality of journalism has gone down, because the pay has gone down. That's just my gut, though. Where are the high quality journalists?

Maybe Trump made a mistake and it's protesters that are virtually immune.

I’d like to make a correction to this post. “Faulty PCR testing” is misleading. Testing isn’t faulty, it just has limitations inherent to how it’s applied to Covid specifically. PCR technology is one of the greatest discoveries/inventions in the field of genetics and biology—ever. Sorry I wasn’t more clear.

I’ve provided substantial evidence of my claims. Provide something factual to refute it. I’m not interested in your opinions. Or the opinions of journalists. Or the opinions of politicians or scientists. GO.....

This is a long thread with a lot of bullshit in it.

Where have you documented anything of the kind?

Oh and Sturgis is responsible for a quarter million infections across the country.

    Good job,,,

If they test positive they say they were at Sturgis.
