i know just wanted to get a post in about the backlash thats starting across the usa, the hispanic population in the usa is turning a blind eye to the illegals and the marine and there not speaking up or protesting against Mexico government, they will look like they are going along with this as TRAITORS and the us public is getting madder at there lack of response .
Tough to say since I have never been in a Mexican jail nor American jail. But I'm sure the bikers will most likely be able to report back on the conditions and treatment of prisoners in Mexicans jails should they become guests of the Mexican government.
It may come as a shock to true patriots but other countries have different laws and no one gives a sh!t if he is a Marine or a friggin' Mouseketeer.
Although I believe these biker's hearts are in the right place, I'm afraid their actions and efforts to draw attention to the situation may only serve to prolong Tahmooressi's stay at the Tijuana Hilton.
The Mexicans are (*)(*)(*)(*) heads. What the bikers should be doing is protesting everywhere obama goes for fundraisers. Then they can protest the golfer in chief for doing nothing to help this guy.

With all due respect, this is a legal issue, not a poltical one. Trying to put political pressure to Mexico will only aggravate the situation. the fact is that when you leave the jurisdiction of the United States and go to another contry, accidentally or intentioally, you must adhere to those laws. With this Marine who accidentally entered Mexico and carrying firearms that are forbidden in Mexcio, he technically violated the law. As a result, he is now in prison. And given we have cettain treaties with Mexico, he may be able to use those treaties to help him be moved from Mexico to the U.S. Other than that, the State Department does not get involved. They are not your legal team if you vioalte a crime in another country. The rest of your post is BS since all countries are corrupt poltiically. And we, the United States, are the most open corrupt country in the world.
There is no disagreement over the reason for this Marine's imprisonment. The point is what is Obama doing about it? He has tons of leverage but so far we see no evidence that he's used any of it.
Easy if you do not have a body of water as your boundery. This happens on both the Northern and Southern borders in certain areas of the U.S. .
the only way I can see Obama stepping in is if the Mexican government does not abide by a certain treaty. Other than that, the State Department is not your legal team. It never was.
What's he obligated to do? Should he be working to free every American in foreign prisons? Why? Why should any of us care about this guy?
Why would Obama do anything? This Marine is nobody special, is not a vital national asset and is just another guy who was dumb enough to get caught breaking the law because he 'accidentally' crossed the Mexican border. Obviously he didn't notice the lines of waiting cars, customs posts and uniformed guards when he had this 'accident'. You guys are quick enough to jump on any Mexican for crossing into the USA illegally, but when one of yours breaks their laws you treat him like a saint!
I know this really won't do any good as there's not enough of them to block the freeway just north of the entrance. And, I certainly hope they aren't stupid enough to cross into Mexico. It's just disgusting that our government isn't doing more to get him freed.
