New York City recently elected its first Democratic mayor in nearly two decades, Bill de blasio. He ran as a progressive against Lhota and promised to promote the ideals of liberalism in the city. Some think, however, that he is a bit too liberal even for the democrats. Some even think he is even farther left-wing as many speculate he believes in the redistribution of wealth. What do you think? Vote in the poll and respond.

He's a pragmatist, and a liberal. I expect his policies will fall center-left, considering how embedded he is with real estate interests. He's certainly not some "socialist" as the Republicans have made him out to be.

He is like all aging leftist.

He was a radical as a youth but the system has turned him fascist.
