From memory, Soros was a little boy and worked for the Jewish Council, an administrative body in occupied territories of the Nazi regime. The only thing he did was deliver sheets of paper to prominent Jewish families. He later posed as the godson of the minister of Agriculture in Hungary. Although he did not experience the death camps, most jews view him in similar fashion as an estranged relative. Not quite trustworthy, but at the same time, not a a black sheep. And those that do not udnerstand what the conditions were with the Jewish Council in Eastern Europe have no clude as to judge someone when he was just a boy.
