Eadora there is no way to tell a terrorist from an innocent civilian whether they be black as you call certain people, Palestinian, Israeli Arab, Israeli Jew..they all look the same and it is because they look the same they might get killed and therein lies the irony of your comment-you don't get it-that innocent man died not because he was black but because he was running and people thought because he was running he had just killed someone.

The man who died was in fact Eritrean-he wasn't black, he wasn't white, he could have looked like anyone-the civilians were sure he was a terrorist-they attacked him not because of his skin colour but because of his wrongfully perceived terrorist identity-it had nothing to do with being Eritrean and everything to do with running and being in the wrong place right after an attack when he ran.

You exploit a tragic death to project your own subjective view on it. You see racism because you set out to see racism. You had made up your mind it was racist and that is what you saw when you then looked at the tape.

There is no race in the ME. Arabs are Jews, Christians, Muslim, Beduin, and come in every variation of skin colour, hair texture, nose shape. So do other Jews, Muslims, Christians. There is no race. Its a mix of all physical characteristics and skin shades.

What you also have done is obscure and trivialize an actual real problem in Israel. Israel does have social tension between its Mitzrahi (Arab/Tsfardic) Jews and Russian Jews, between Ethiopian Jews and Russian Jews of course. Jews like any people have many different values depending on their cultural variations and they conflict no differently than do ethnic groups in your country and all over the world.. Its not necessarily racism as you call it that causes it across the world. In the Middlle East nd in Israel its not about skin colour-its far more complex and it deals with subtle things as well as religious, culture and other issues. It is not about hating someone because of their skin colour. It is about for exmple what one eats, how they pray, what clothes they wear, their accent, the family history, whether those families have been feuding.

Please stop using this tragic incident as a platform to incite hatred against Israelis. Criticizing bigotry while engaging in it yourself is pointless.

The sad thing is more INNOCENT people both Palestinian and Israeli are going to die, precisely Eadora because they do not look different-their blood is the same colour. Understand that irony.

A right-wing Jewish extremist threw stones at and attempted to stab president of Rabbis
for Human Rights, Arik Asherman, following an olive harvest coordinated with the
Israeli army on Friday. Nobody was significantly injured in the incident.

Rabbi Asherman and a group of Israeli and international activists arrived to accompany
Palestinian farmers to their privately owned olive orchard, located near the illegal Israeli
outpost of Gideonim, which is an offshoot of the Itamar settlement.

Following the harvest, the Palestinian farmers noticed suspected Israeli settlers stealing
olives and another setting fire to the hillside. Rabbi Asherman said that because
firefighters did not arrive quickly, he went to try and put out the fire himself.

At that point, the masked man who set the fire, ostensibly a settler from the nearby
outpost, tried to prevent Rabbi Asherman from reaching the site of the blaze, threw stones
at him and pulled out a knife and repeatedly swung it toward him. The man kicked and
punched Asherman.

Rabbi Asherman and other activists remained at the scene in order to direct the army and
police toward the attacker, he said in a statement, but it took police 30 minutes to arrive.
At that point the attacker had already fled.

Rabbis for Human Rights often accompanies Palestinian farmers in order to help protect
them from settler attacks.

The organization’s website explains: “Our presence in the groves with the farmers helps
keep them safe, as extremists are far less likely to cause problems when they know
Israelis and internationals are present.”

A police spokesperson responded to the attack on Friday by blaming the incident on a
provocation by “left-wing activists and anarchists.” She said officers were searching the
area for the suspect.

Between 2005 and 2014, according to human rights group Yesh Din, only four out of the
246 criminal complaints of damage to olive trees that it monitored resulted in
indictments. In total, only 7.4 percent of West Bank Israeli police investigations into
complaints from Palestinian victims of offenses committed against them or their property
by Israeli civilians result in indictments, according to the organization.

“From the moment the olive harvest begins, we witness a series of serious incidents
involving attacks on harvesters and damage to trees,” Noa Cohen of Yesh Din’s research
department stated last year. “This recurring phenomenon is a result of failure to enforce
the law.”

The incident on Friday was far from the first time Rabbis for Human Rights and the
Palestinians they accompany have come under settler attack.

The attack of this settler on the man that is part of the Rabbis for Humen Rights, is awfull we can agree on that, but you need to remember Eadora, this settler is an extremist that I would not be suprised that if he even consider the current government as "left-wing government".

This settler is not reflecting about all of the settlers, this settler is part of a small extremists. There are alot of good, honest settlers in the West Bank- Please dont generelize.
Let us not forget as well that the video you showed here about the settler, is only showing part of what was going on at the time. That's what means "out of context". If it was in context, then we could show all of what was going on there. (to clerify, I'm not justifying in any way such attack).

BTW, if we will take a look on the organizations that donate to the organization of "Rabbis for Humen Rights", we will see that one of the organizations is NDC. which located in Ramallah and even created the "code of ethics for NGOs Palestinians" that calls for a rejection of any kind of normalization with Israel.
Is it not bothering you that for an humen right organization (Rabbis for Humen Rights), an other organizaion (NDC) is funded it, while written on it's flag that it (NDC) rejacts any kind of normalization with Israel?

Let's not forget that also the New Israel Fund, that funds RHR as well, are getting funded by such organizations such as the NDC, and using this funding to send a little bit to fellow organizations such as the RHR.
