I do not approve of this senseless violence(or the protests that proceeded afterwards), that led to this man's untimely death. I want our law enforcement officers to be the best that the world can boast, I want our justice system to be fair and impartial and I want equal treatment under the law, including getting rid of the idea of affluenzia, the dude who literally sexually assaulted someone but got off scot free because of his rich parents disgusts me.

Congress simply hasn't gotten involved, it should. We're past the point of allowing these individuals to work jobs that demand them to operate in a civil, multi-ethnic society like ours.

 

No they didn't, they were busy restraining him and we cannot saw what they saw, let's give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

 

Murder. It would have been manslaughter if it was a 'reckless' action, but the difference between reckless and deliberate is the 'knowingness'. His body was limp, he was unresponsive and they were STILL on his ass. I would love to prosecute this case, every such excuse that's being given here, would be utterly refuted(and I'm doing refuting)

That's maybe a dozen instances out of 100,000s American police officers, it hardly smacks of a hydra like threat? Plus, James Comey?

 

Not sure about that. Look, I back the cops in 99.99% of cases like this, because they're almost always justified. But this? Looks like extreme gross negligence/incompetence at best. Murder at worst

 

Look at all the black men killed by one another? Truth is the US police kill fewer people of all races than every before, partly because the US is a less violent place these days, partly due to taser and other non lethal alternatives.

 

That would suggest deliberate intent, the footage suggests negligence.

No they're not, 3 out of 4 did their duty, 1 used excessive force, the arrest was righteous, the force used by the other 3 was righteous, it was only the actions of the one which led to his death and that was hardly a deliberate act to cause death, he was just reckless to the fact.

 

saw the video, what did the cop do, hear him say he was having a hard time breathing and pushed harder?

 

This sort of brutality is uncalled for period.
