Don't know about folded, but he's certainly proven his OP to be false. In this case, he's not only ignoring the larger problem, he's defending the perp while ignoring known facts.

My boss is black and I work with many black professionals. I assure you they ignore black on black crime. Maybe they talk about it in their churches or families... but successful black people are (rightfully) embarrassed to be associated with thugs like the ones who killed the lady in Dallas as she was waiting to pick up her son. I'm not saying they condone such behavior... but they certainly don't speak out against it.

 

Really? When was the protest by the black community on the ABSURD level of black on black crime? I must have missed that one. Where was it at and how many people attended?

Oh and btw... the article... like most black apologist articles blames the ridiculous level of violent crime, not on the people who commit the violent crime, but on whitey. Mean old whitey is causing these black men to murder people at a rate of 50% of the total murders in this country. Mean old whitey is causing all the problems.

Well, I've worked with two black principals the past few years - one of which was a statistical impossibility, the Black Female Conservative. And BOTH of them have regularly said that their worst problem kids at school were the Blacks - with one of them specifically, black females. I hate to admit it, but in a school with a student population that is 66% Hispanic and 25% Black, nevertheless when there's a fight or disruptive behavior, it's almost always the Black kids. Even the other Black teachers have called them out on it. The Hispanics are usually pretty mellow.

 

In my humble opinion, it really has nothing to do with skin color, it has much more to do with a culture that glorifies violence and excuses broken homes and fatherless homes by blaming whites who have nothing at all to do with it.

 

On a positive note, most black professionals I work with have children and I guarantee their children aren't running the streets. I live a few blocks from a high school and the other day a black kid walking thru the neighborhood after school grabbed a woman's wallet out of her hand as she was heading to her car to go pick up her daughter. Right in front of her house in broad daylight! Of course he got away with it but even he got caught, excuses would probably be made for his behavior, too. Poor Johnny can't read so he gets frustrated and robs people.

Yes, unfortunately I was at a lot of them. I saw a lot of the hate and venom that people were spewing. These "race baiters" were using simple minded folk to do their dirty work and to start whatever war they wanted to forward their agenda. Half the people there didn't really even know why they were marching or what they were protesting...

You can make all the anonymous tips you want, but then you have to go to court to make the case stick. The problem doesn't have anything to do with a "don't snitch rule", the problem is after folks talk to the police and tell them what they need to know they don't want to end up dead.

Its easy for you to sit in the comfort of your home behind a computer screen and tell other folks what they should be doing. It was a mother in Philadelphia who told the police who the local drug dealers were and you know what she got for her service? They burned her house down with her and her children in it.
