I'm not sure what your saying now. Are you saying that the school administration is more lenient in disciplinary matters with the silver spoon kids than the poor students? You seem to be getting more and more confusing. You had posted earlier that the schools were giving the rich kids more attention, now you seem to be arguing that they are giving them less. And the teachers? They are totally neutral in this battle that the school administration is having between rich and poor kids? Teachers don't have any input on student achievement?

Honestly you seem to be muddying up the waters with each post.

"The boot?" You mean suspended or expelled? And who is responsible for that? Teachers?

So in other words, it's just a mystery, and no one should look into it.

Well I've never heard that rich kids don't get suspended because their parents might sue the school. That doesn't seem like that's much of a public school threat. However I admit that's just my reality. You may be from a much more well heeled area where petty lawsuits from the local hoi polloi is a real threat.

Well I don't really blame him for that. It's really the typical liberal view of public education. It's not the fault of students, but they don't want to say it's the fault of teachers either because...teachers unions, plus teachers are heroes. It used to be the fault of not enough money, but that argument has gotten more and more ridiculous, so you're left with some vague blame to administrators or I guess in this case parents of rich kids who send their kids to public schools.

Bias could certainly play a role but the bigger question is why are we using a term like suspended for such small children who are barely out of babyhood? In fact, some are still in diapers.

The teachers should be experts in early childhood development skills, with constructive ways to deal with infantile behavior, since embryonic social skills and an occassional tantrum come with the territory when your client is a preschooler.

Affluence could also play a role in the quality of the school and staff. At generously staffed and better equipped schools, options like teaching the child coping skills and calming techniques could be used, resulting in no "suspension". The same behavior from another child could result suspension.

Each child of a different race behaved in the same manner but one child was subjected to constructive measures and the other was added to the suspension statistics. Racists pounce on the statistics, thinking they see red meat and start salivating.

One can very well state that the most dangerous schools, neighborhoods and cities are those with larger black populations. You think something might be an issue considering this? Sounds to me like the problems start at home.

Since when are Preschoolers suspended for toileting accidents ???
They are at an age where toileting accidents are frequent due to poor bowel control, ingestion of things with a high bacteria count, poor hygiene / eating with unwashed hands, and urinary incontinence, all inherent at that age.

Preschool age children have poor impulse control and are immature, what would anyone expect ?

Grades 1-6 had almost no black children in my school, and the ones that we did have, ended up transferred out because of extremely violent behavior and multiple incidents.

Two girls started fighting and ripped the starter loops out of each other's newly pierced ears, they had strings oddly enough, making a very bloody scene like something you would see in a horror movie.

A boy was sent to Reform school for sending the Teacher a death threat via a handwritten note.

Twins were transferred out for constantly changing places / classes and misbehaving.

Just Google suspended from preschool for potty accidents. I still don't believe that this is the language that should be used for preschoolers.

Maybe because black school kids have no manners and misbehave more often because 80% of them come from a fatherless homes.

Sorry the world isn't equal..... I know in the progressive mind everything should be equal and if there is any divergence in equality between races it must be the result of racism...... We call the way you think a logical fallacy.
