Sure if they're interesting and going somewhere. That doesn't seem to be the case unless your interested in my personal history of restaurants throughout the United States, in which case, that's for another thread.

youre the one that raised purely anecdotal evidence to try and make a point that was ultimately false.

Well of course it was anecdotal. I specifically said it was my observation, not my data set. But how was it ultimately false? I must have missed that part of the thread.

istated that there were no black owned restaurants and you tried to back that up with anecdotal evidence. you jumped on the bandwagon of a lie.

I interpreted your meaning as sarcastic:

Are you saying that you were not being sarcastic? That you were intending your comment to be taken seriously, but, you were lying about it?

    Heh, you have issues...

of course it was sarcastic, are you telling me you thought it was a serious comment? either way, you joined a bandwagon with a sincere comment, unfortunately that bandwagon was a blatant lie that you already knew but you STILL joined in with a sincere comment. Hey, im not saying you are abad person, you just got suckered in like most do round here.

Hmmm, let's see... I stated that I interpreted your comment as sarcastic, so how exactly was I suckered into anything? I'm still waiting on how my statement was false. You never demonstrated that.

OK, so let's assume that the racism against Hispanics is just as strong as it is against blacks, and that white slaveholders effectively bred out or killed off more intelligent blacks from the black gene poor and that's why their incomes are lower as a group.

What do you propose we should do?

If a black man cannot make it in this country he will not make it anywhere. Kudos to you.

Black people can make it in this country they just have to try. I hear the same excuse so often and it makes me cringe. "White mans world" "Country is racist" "We have to work twice as hard"

You have to work twice as hard? THEN WORK TWICE AS HARD. Light a fire under their ass. Stop saying the game is rigged so you aren't going to play. Say SCREW THAT I know the game is rigged but not only am I going to play Im going to walk onto the field as beat EVERYBODY.

I tell people to look at stories like that of US Navy Master Chief Carl Brashear. He came into a world that really WAS racist as hell. He really did have to work twice as hard as his white counterparts. He was set up for absolute failure from the day he walked into school. But he never gave up. He didn't say "this isn't fair screw this I quit". No. He said "Screw you all I WILL become a Navy Diver". And he did. When they beat him down he gave them the finger and got back up again, and again, and again. He had a DREAM and he absolutely REFUSED to let ANYBODY take that away from him. In a world that was specifically designed to make him fail.

If people like him could do it back when the world really was racist then black people sure as hell can do it now.

I am nobody special and I won't even fantasize about putting my name in the same boat as great men such as Master Chief Breshear. But I too was a black kid in a low income single parent household who had a DREAM. And I too absolutely REFUSED to let ANYBODY take that dream away from me. Did I run into some hardships along the way? Absolutely. Did I run into some racism along the way? Absolutely. From the times where I studied for weeks on end for the initial testing when I was told there were no more pilot slots available. To when I worked for months to put together a packet anyway. From when I took a huge chemical bomb hit in Afghanistan and the medics grabbed my hand and said "we're sorry bro, you aren't going to heal properly, your leg and eyes are screwed up you won't pass a flight physical". To one of the blatantly racist instructor pilots who told me "Im sure glad I didn't have to pick cotton, and I don't want to hear crap about you whining about your ancestors". Or to the guys who flat out told me "Wow...we don't see too many of you guys come through here..."

They aren't taking anymore pilots? I am too badly injured? I won't make it? Watch this. Now I walk with a limp and I wear glasses and I'm black and I STILL fly. And I am the only black pilot in my entire battalion.

And the happiest day of both of our lives was when I finally graduated flight school and my father walked up at the ceremony shaking with tears in his eyes to pin the wings on my chest.

"You did it son, you did it"

And me doing everything in my power to keep my professional composure and hold back the tears streaming down my face in front of a formation.

"I did it Dad, I did it".

Our company has about 170 employees. We have people of all races, genders, and sexual preferences, but we are not very diverse. Most of our employees are field engineers. We are skilled technicians who work by ourselves and represent the company by taking care of our customers' power equipment at their place of business. We hire the best person for the job because each engineer is handling close to a million dollars worth of maintenance contracts every year on average.

We like to hire prior military for the technical skills and the history of being dependable for work. My boss feels pressure to hire minorities and if he can find a black person who is qualified, he considers it a bonus when he hires them. I've only known one woman to do my job. She had the technical skill, but couldn't keep up with the physical demands.(heavy lifting of batteries sometimes) The bottom line is, we hire who we think can and will do the job that best benefits the company. Business is booming for us.

Its not the fault of Black people. They have inbuilt problems. First their high levels of testosterone mean that they are far more likley to be involved in violent crime (it also means they are better at sport) so they are vastly more likley to be in Jail. Secondly high testosterone is also correlated with lower IQ which is certainly true when you test african americans. In a society where intelligence is more importnt than brute strength tht makes it more difficult for African Americans.

Society needs to help AFrican Americans. 14-40 year old males should get oestregen injections to counter the high testosterone it will also produce more of those hilarious black drag queen types

The liberal progressives don't want those kind of people, they dwell on the subservient , the groups they can control to keep themselves employed.

More probable the racists don't have an answer. At least one they will admit to publicly.

You really shouldn't call people racists. Reflects more on you than them. :(
