What are you talking about? It was Republican policies and budgets that produced the surpluses of the late 1990's and 2000. We got through a recession and again it was Republican budgets and policies that produce the measly $161B deficit in 2007.

THEN the Democrats took budget and policy control and we see the fiscal disaster they created.

Rhodes Scholarships...give me a freaking break.
More like an indoctrination course in leftism.

Bill Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar. What did he do as a Rhodes Scholar? He organized anti-American protest in London and Europe and broke the law by illegally traveling to Moscow (collussion with the Soviets) during the Vietnam War.

Anyone who has an old U.S. passport from the 60's or early 70's will see a list of countries that American citizens were forbidden to travel to, the USSR being one of them along with North Vietnam, North Korea and Cuba.

The one thing for sure is that Trump had no qualifications to be President. And so far his year plus in office proves that conclusively.

The current massive debt of the United States can be directly attributed to Republican tax cuts without any concurrent cuts in spending. And now Trump is going to make the hole even deeper.

I keep forgetting some people respect brilliance and others demean it. We just have different values

Why do the uneducated think protesting a war means you’re anti American.? I guess supporting the war means you are pro deaths of Americans

What in **** does a Rhodes scholar have to do with being brilliant ?

    FYI:
A Rohdes Scholarship has little to do with an academic scholarship.
Today the Rhodes scholarship program is about PC indoctrination.

If you are referring to the Vietnam War, the vast majority who were protesting were not protesting against the war but against the draft.

The leadership of the counter cultural movement and the anti war movement weren't against the war in Vietnam but were against the USA or the RVN winning the war in Vietnam.

    FYI:
All left wing organization like the SDS, Weather Underground, Students Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, etc. during the 60's and 70's were splinter groups of CPUSA just as the Party of Liberation and Socialism, A*N*S*W*E*R* Coalition, ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, etc. today are also splinter groups of CPUSA.

CPUSA always got its marching orders from the Kremlin.

She lost white women too. The votes against her were because of who she is, her past history and her policy positions. Her votes for were of course highly influenced merely by her sex.
It;s the left that needs to get over the my is your sex thing.

So even with that woman's advantage, coming off a popular president, the adoration the left still levies on her sleazebag husband, she got beat by a playboy reality star whom they had laughed at the mere notion.

Most Americans, in regard to the Vietnam fiasco (as well as to the Bush's Iraq one) came to realize the truth, but that has negligible value as a diversion from the bleak prospects of the trumped GOP in November.

Younger, better-educated Americans and, especially, women, are determined to restore American values.

Clinton got his through corrupt political influence in Arkansas and the Hot Springs criminal element with whom his step-daddy was involved. And then they had to run him out because of his abusive sexual nature.

Actually it had a strategic value in that it was our last foothold in the region and the lost hurt us in our geopolitical position. Too bad it was lost due to politics.

It can be directly attributed to the massive spending increases of the Democrats in 2008 and 2009 and keeping spending at those levels for the next 5 years and we are STILL trying to get rid of some of those increases. After both the Gingrich/Kasich tax rate cuts and the Bush43 tax rate cuts tax revenues SOARED to record increases and in the former helped produce budgets surpluses and the latter a paltry $161B deficit heading to surplus.

Then the Democrats took budget and fiscal control.

But do explain how you attribute that spending to just Republicans.

Younger, better educated...who are you referring too ???

Are you reffing those who can't make basic math calculation in the brain housing group or using a pencil and paper but have to use a calculator ?

Since todays schools no longer teach geography so many think Afghanistan is in the Middle East.

Are you referring to those of the younger generation who never were taught cursive (penmanship) and don't even know how to use a pen and paper ?

They no longer teach history in our schools, just revisionist history in the name of cultural-marxism.

Are you referring to all of those Democrats who have a BA in the liberal arts or all of those Republicans who have a BS in the sciences ?

I would say it doesn't come down to a college degree but knowledge that one has accumulated over life.

Kinda nice knowing you can say "Been there...Done that."

Kinda nice knowing you can change a flat tire without calling AAA or being asked "Do you know what a lug wrench is" ? and not having to turn to another snowflake and asking "What's a lug wrench" and the snowflake thinks you are referring to him?

Recent studies shows that when only looking at whites with a college degree, the majority are Republicans not Democrats.

Now if you add minorities, Hispanics, Asians, Oriental Asians and blacks, the vast majority with a college degree are registered as Democrats .
But most Hispanics and blacks who have a college degree only earned a BA in the liberal arts and unless they become shysters ( lawyers ) they can't use the degree in the private sector and end up becoming civil service employees. Kinda like being dependent on tax payers and government.

Try to read and comprehend what I actually said. The massive American debt is directly traceable to Republican tax cuts without any cuts in spending.

    Exactly.

They were the Arkansas Mafia associated with the Chicago mob. Great book on the Dixie Mafia, Mississippi Mud, which ended with the Mayor of Biloxi charged in the murder of a local judge.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GPOYEOI/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1

"The riveting true-crime account of the heartbreaking murder that shook a Southern city to its corrupt foundation

BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI: After the fatal shooting of one of the city’s most prominent couples—Vincent Sherry was a circuit court judge; his wife, Margaret, was running for mayor—their grief-stricken daughter came home to uncover the truth behind the crime that shocked a community and to follow leads that police seemed unable or unwilling to pursue. What Lynne Sposito soon discovered were bizarre connections to the Dixie Mafia, a predatory band of criminals who ran The Strip, Biloxi’s beachfront hub of sex, drugs, and sleaze. Armed with a savvy private eye—and a .357 Magnum—Lynne bravely entered a teeming underworld of merciless killers, ruthless con men, and venal politicians in order to bring her parents’ assassins to justice."

They ran sting through Angola Prison to extort money from gay men answering ads in magazines along with their other control of local crime.

He got his because of connections his father had with segregationist William Fulbright. You know the guy Clinton said was his mentor.

Try to read what I not only said but provided the facts, no it was not. The tax cuts helped produce RECORD tax revenues and the spending restraint showed by the Republicans produced surpluses and measly deficits. The explosion in the deficits and debt came under Democrat budgets and fiscal policy.
