You failed to prove there is no such thing, while I proved hip hop and yoga are linked to the cultural background of specific ethnic groups.

Let me volunteer an explanation. Black things like rap music are crummy. They degrade the listener.

White things are good. They make the user a better person.

I fully support discouraging white people from listening to rap. I also fully support inculcating white cultural norms like punctuality among the black population.

Things will be worse if whites start acting like blacks and better if blacks start acting like whites.

I can't say a black African and a Japanese are constructed cultural.
They look radically different. So you're just making it all up

You are conflating biology and culture. Are you saying a white baby raised by Native Americans in the 1700's doesn't grow up believing in the culture of his/her tribe? A Muslim baby captured by Crusaders, taken to Europe and raised as one of their own doesn't become a "European"?

Do you believe in the "one drop of blood" meme?

Sorry, but bullshit. There are rap songs I like, but mostly I prefer Oldies Rock. "White Things" are cultural and just what we are used to having.

Music, regardless of genre, that emphasizes disrespect for others, spreads hate or is otherwise destructive is wrong, IMO. Yes, some rap is like that. "Gangsta Rap" is destructive to Black Americans and, IMO, a contributing factor in the deaths of many young black men. OTOH, rap, in general is no more evil than "Rock'n'Roll" was in the 1950s. Remember all of those people whining it was the Devil's music?

The first rap song I liked. I first heard it on the Robin Williams/Jeff Bridges movie "The Fisher King":

You are not interested in the truth then. But then I’ve never found anyone from the postmodern left who is.

I said I proved the positive, while you claim the negative you can't source. So... I win the argument.

You said.. "Ethinicity is a cultural construct"
A white baby will always be ethnically white.

Simple fact I sourced that hip hop / rap is African American, and yoga is Indian Buddhist / Hindu.
No need to go cry crocodile tears over this that you can't deny it.

Wrong. A light skinned baby will always be a a light skinned baby, but it's cultural will be the one where it was raised. Same for a dark-skinned baby, olive-skinned, whatever. Skin tone doesn't matter. There are other genetic factors to consider, but mostly it's cultural. Obviously you are one of those that believe one drop of black blood makes a person black and that culture is genetic. I know better. Culture is how a child is nurtured. Their skin tone is of little significance except to racists such as those who believe in "cultural appropriation".

Agreed. It’s why some blacks speak with a British accent.

When you claim that it does mean "Ethinicity is a cultural construct" is untrue.

In that case you previously meant "Culture is a cultural construct".

But when now you say this... it does mean you acknowledge different groups got different cultures.
And its simply so that hip hop / rap is part of a different group than yoga.
I sourced that it is. Go cry me a river already.

What are the odds a member of the BLM will claim that a dark skinned person speaking with a British accent is guilty of "cultural appropriation"? Zero?

The facts are clear: those accusing others of "cultural appropriation" and seeking to legally make them stop doing it are racists furthering racism.

Yes, segregation is the new integration. It's ungodly how illiberal regressives have to twist logic and common sense to conform to their identity political agenda. Truly breathtaking.

I'm not sure they were wrong.

I listened to rap more than 2 minutes only once. It was a memorable experience. I went to a club in South Boston to hear a particular band and the first act was rap. I had no idea of what it was. Somebody named Grandmaster something or other came on stage and started telling the audience how amazingly amazing he was. I was like, OK, let's hear some amazingly amazing music. But there was no music. Only this guy reiterating how amazingly amazing he was.

Nobody else in the audience appreciated this performance either and the crowd grew increasingly restless. I started scoping out the nearest exits as it looked like it might turn violent. Grandmaster something or other stopped and pleaded with the crowd to just calm down and let them finish. They wrapped up the rap and left the stage to stony stares of disapproval.

Listen to the piano solo in the Kurtis Blow Rap song above, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
