Private dependence is based on the willingness of the donor to give. That is acceptable. If someone privately wants to support someone else, that is that person's perogative. Government dependence forces those who have not made a choice to support dependents to do it anyway!!! That is NOT acceptable in a free society!

 

oh no. let's continue to do what we're doing. Lazy, over indulged group of youth who think they're not supposed to work...need CLASSES to learn how to get a job and how to KEEP one. And the latest ridiculousness about newt in violation of child labor laws. I guess if you were a kid and your mother made you clean the toilet with a rag and your hand, you can have her arrested on child cruelty charges.

 

Indeed, some of them pay into the system. Not everyone who is on welfare or food stamps never pays into the system. Sometimes, folks just need a hand to get by for a while.

Again, I have treated you with nothing short of respect. I would appreciate the same in return.

Let me guess. You think Liebermann is a flaming liberal because he's a Democrat, right? Pat Caddell? Kirsten Powers? Mara Liasson? Doug Schoen? Lanny Davis? Juan Williams? Susan Estrich? Dick Morris?

You might notice the one common characteristic of all Fox News Democrats. They're chosen to be limp-wristed wimps, who will, on reflex, mumble things like "That's an interesting point you made about how the Democrats suck so badly. I've never thought of it that way before." And then they'll move on to agreeing that the Democrats suck.

Let us know when FOX News hires a Democrat who isn't a wimp, eh? Doubt it will happen, given that FOX tends to cut the mic of any Democrat with a spine.
