    Trump wore it out, however.

Republicans have to be split between rightwingers who could care less about family values and those who still care.

That's the thing though. You have a lot of Bible thumpers in this thread saying "prostitution? So what?!!?!?" Last I checked prostitution is a sin in the bible much like gay marriage, but they are pretty quiet right now about the morality of prostitution in the context of right wing prostitutes.

The real interest evangelicals had in trump was stacking the court to ban abortions. That is done so they have no reason to continue supporting him.

Oh, I didn't miss it, I just didn't comment on it.

Republicans left me in 1980 when they became a "pro-life" party. I will never support a candidate who wants to take away a woman's right to determine the course of her pregnancy. Anti-abortion is sexism in the extreme.

They would say you can't continue in sin, so if Boebert was currently doing that stuff, it would be a big no-no. But to have lived a 'sinful life' and then leave that lifestyle after 'redemption', that's the celebrated Christian path.

Very few Republicans want zero abortion most of them simply support a reasonable amount of abortion such as to the point that when they tear the baby apart and suck it out with a vacuum it doesn't look like it was already born.

If you're going to have an abortion there is almost never any reason that you couldn't get it done within 4 months. Anything beyond that is absolutely barbaric.

So I guess congratulations on the moral high ground or something like that.

Republicans are going to the extreme these days.
There are late-term abortions of fetuses that will never survive outside the womb. It's cruelty plus to force a woman to carry a fatally flawed fetus to term. There are women at risk, too.

Your first statement is nothing but your opinion and I could easily say the same thing about the left.

Your second statement would be the relatively rare exceptions that I noted.

Are you okay with women getting abortions after 4 months just because it was convenient or they sat there and waited too long? That's a pretty extreme position right there

You bet it is. Banning all abortions except when a woman's life is immediately threatened is way over-the-top extreme.
You mean like cutting funds to the police? You bet. A plague on their houses, just like a plague on the anti-abortion crowd passing laws like the one in Oklahoma.
What a woman does with her body should be protected by the Constitution. Conservative activists are prepared to interpret the Constitution and let legislators give the fetus rights greater than women.

Very few late-term abortions are performed in this country and almost all of them are about messed up fetuses or desperately ill women. It's akin to banning so-called "assault style" rifles—pointless legislative overkill.

I don't know if I would call 13,000 very late term abortions "very few".....https://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-b...3000-late-term-abortions-happen-every-year-a/

There are very few.... Truly very few.... Republicans seeking to ban all abortion.

Does vast majority think it should be a States rights case

Exactly like Joe Biden used to when he said that roe versus Wade went too far and it should be left up to the states.

And if you read my link it proves your claim and incorrect

    Here are the numbers:

"In 2015, more than 400,000 abortions took place in the US. Of those, just 5,597 (or 1.3%) happened on or after 21 weeks of pregnancy, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The vast majority (91%) of abortions take place at or before 13 weeks of pregnancy.

Women sometimes choose to have a late-term abortion because the pregnancy poses a threat to their health or there are fetal medical conditions. But some women also have late-term abortions simply because they were unable to access one earlier due to difficulty in getting a referral or insurance problems. Studies have found this is particularly true for poorer women."

    https://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2019/mar/07/abortion-late-term-what-pregnancy-stage
I don't much care what Biden said. SCOTUS should never have allowed abortion laws.

Why laugh? Economic circumstances could have forced her into prostitution, and abortion victimizes the mother and the baby.
Nothing to laugh at unless you want to victimize her again.

Let not be cruel, even to adversaries.

I'm not buying that she was a prozzie. I’m not buying she had abortions. I have no problem with women taking money for sex, nor having abortions. This whole thing is a laughable sham. She not the victim of anything she didn’t do to herself.

That's my whole point. Even if she was a prozzie I don't care, I've nothing against them. Every man pays for it one way or another. All I'm laughing about his her other antics, like telling women to chase a god if they want a man, while her man is showing his richard to kids.

I mean if you can't find something funny in a woman preaching about how to find the right man (through mythology), while her man is waving his wangus at children, where can we go from here?

Come on fellas, if there is nothing about a politician patronizing a group of church lady types with wild and flamboyant, spastic rhetoric about the secret to personal happiness through a very fuzzy, feel-good but occasionally angry deity while in a bowling alley somewhere her very own special father-of-many husband, sworn to her by the same often pissed-off deity stares wildly over a redneck recreational facility while finally deciding "yeah, now- NOW is the time I whip out my special purpose" and heralding the end of her career by lassoing it to and fro in front of children, where CAN we find humor?

What a pathetic smear. RCP has this ranked Likely GOP. 538 has 97% probability that Boebert wipes the floor with her hapless opponent.

Sex, Blackmail, and Video Tape: Lauren Boebert's Challenger Adam

'Sexual congress is likely the only congress Democrat Adam Frisch will get to enjoy. Breitbart snagged a tasty exclusive story that gets wilder as you read it. Adam Frisch, the Democrat challenging Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert for her seat this November, thought a storage unit was a safe place to sleep with his mistress.'

He forgot about the surveillance tapes!

    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!

The Denver-based Democrats are doing everything imaginable to get rid of Boebert, but fortunately, because Denver is in a totally different district, none of the Boulder and North Denver Libocrats can vote against her! Her ski-town, rich guy opponent, Adam Frisch, may not even carry Aspen, Colorado, where he has a million-dollar mansion... and if a liberal Democrat can't pull a majority of votes in a hyperliberal mosh pit like Aspen, then it don't look good for him! :cowboy:

Boebert is especially galling to all these 'woke' Democrats, everywhere, and a huge pain-in-the-ass for Nancy Pelosi... and, I hope she continues to be exactly that. "You go, girl"! :flagus:

I think the question is this: do we vote for the person or the platform?

Before you say "it's both, you idiot!", ask yourself if you would not vote for a person who supports your preferred policy positions and values even if it turned out that the candidate had not lived those values personally? Suppose, for example, that you supported Medicare for all, but that the only candidate on the ballot were a lying hypocrite and a tax cheat? Or that he had profited mightily trading health care stocks?

Suppose it were revealed that Donald Trump hired illegal aliens, but that he was th only person who shared your view that the border needs to be secured with a wall and razor wire?

You support gun control, but the only candidate solemnly vowing to advance legislation to outlaw AR15's were known to have been active in the NRA for years?

You're going to vote for his opponent because of your high principles?
