It seems that these attorneys aren't actually resigning from the DOJ, just the case. One is leaving DC and going back to his original office in Maryland.

    The Internetz......

"A senior Justice Department official said Tuesday afternoon that department leaders were taken by surprise by the recommendation in the prosecution filing. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the decision to revise the submission was unrelated to Trump's tweet and took place Monday evening, prior to Trump sending the message.

"The department was shocked to see the sentencing recommendation in the Stone case last night," said the official. "That recommendation was not the recommendation that had been briefed to the department. The department found the recommendation to be extreme and excessive and grossly disproportionate to Stone’s offenses and the department will clarify its position in court later today.""

    Great.

The AG is a Trump Stooge and Trump is weaponizing the DOJ against his enemies.

And the RW thinks that is reason to celebrate?:smh:

    Not being reported.

    Yes, I am.

Judging from the resignations it sounds like someone deliberately misled their superiors...

If they deliberately misled their superiors, it's more likely they'd get fired...

It SOUNDS like they disagree with the Consigliere overriding their recommendation the day after Trump put the screws to him in public...

    That's what it SOUNDS like...

Still following me around? :smh: :bored:

Anyway, Trump seems to be trampling on The Constitution by not allowing DOJ to have any sort of "independence".

Trump is becoming an Unhinged Dictator.:smh:

Compromising the independence of DOJ is a horrible development for our Republic.

Not that it matters to his voters.:smh:

I imagine at some point, Trump will allow Stone's sentence to be determined by the crowds at one of his Sieg Heil rallies..

He'll point to various sentences and use the applause meter to determine what Stone gets...

My guess is new Ambassador to the EU....

Hahahahahah..."I am shocked...", borrowed from the famous line by the French Chief of Police Captain Louis Renault (played by Claude Raines) in the film "Casablanca," on gambling at Rick's Place. "Round up the usual suspects." The DoJ anonymous tipster had a sense of humor. Get back to us when it's verified.

Two prosecutors have resigned to protest Dirty Donalds and his flunky A.G.Barr Barr Black sheep's interference into the recommended sentencing of a Federal criminal who threatened the JUDGE by posting a picture of her with a crosshairs next to her head and by writing a threat of ,'Prepare to die" to witness Randy Credico who had acted as his intermediary with Wikileaks.

The Two Federal prosecutors who resigned in protest of the interference are Aaron Zelinsky and Jonathon Kravis and other members of the Federal prosecution are also condemning the president and Justice departments interference.

Update... All 4 prosecutors on the case have withdrawn from the case (not resigned)... it started with one, now it's all 4...

    This is NOT normal...

I imagine Horowitz will HAVE to get involved in this, sooner or later...

    Here's an article

    https://politicalwire.com/2020/02/11/prosecutor-resigns-from-roger-stone-case/

It's unclear to me how many of these people have actually resigned from the DOJ vs just withdrawn from this single case...

Basically they're upset that the top brass in the DOJ won't allow political persecutions in the sentencing guidelines. Well, that's too bad. If we don't allow "retaliations", then we also don't allow inhumane treatment of suspects and inmates.

This one isn't on Trump... This likely is on Fat Bob Costas...

But we'll see... nobody on the DOJ side is willing to come out on the record yet...

Anyone think its more than coincidence that this is all happening immediately after failed peachmint?

Seems like they were planning to toss him under the jail, but don't think they'll get away with it now.

I bet they give him minimal jail time just to see if Trump will pardon him (and he better!).
