So what did they have to hide? Stinks to high heavens. Must be nice to be able to tell the nations highest law enforcement branch to bugger off. We will "investigate" ourselves. They did not want them seeing the real source of the hack, evidently.

I'm glad we agree that collusion is a different story, as the FBI never had evidence(they had rumors, gossip for days sure, but never EVIDENCE) and IG Horowitz agreed, laughably calling it a 'low threshold', problem is I think this is the first case in history with 'low thresholds'(it's like the FBI trying to get the inside scoop of a HS prom queen, which is what I've compared it to if you've read my posts over the years.)

Crowdstrike says the hack was most likely Russia.

You should try reading the indictment. The evidence for it is not from crowdstrike

From the OIG's "A Review of Various Actions by the FBI and DOJ in Advance of the 2016 Election:

We also asked Strzok about this “no big there there” message. Strzok stated,

"As I looked at the predicating information, as I looked at the facts as we understood them from … the allegations that Russia had these email, and offered to members of the Trump campaign to release them. As we looked at the various actors, the questions [was], was that part of a broad coordinated effort, or was that simply a bunch of opportunists seeking to advance their own individual agendas … which of that is is? My question was whether or not this represented a large, coordinated conspiracy or not." p. 406

Something either changed his mind or he decided to proceed with Crossfire Hurricane knowing there was no evidence of collusion with "Russia,"whatever that means.

well, Crowdstrike are the ones who monitored and investigated the hacking, so I trust their testimony.

    especially when its under oath.

So is the FBI. And they have the authority to seize the server yet they did not, you dont find that as very guilty looking? Who paid crowdstrike? Can we say "obvious conflict of interests"?

    where exactly is the conflict?

the FBI told the DNC that they had been hacked, the DNC hired a private IT security company to investigate.

did the FBI get a warrant for the servers?

Insurance policy to try and remove Trump from office? Crossfire Hurricane is now a criminal investigation. We should be getting more and more information from Barr/Durham every week now.

They had motive and opportunity. They’d be insane not to investigate

Crowdstrike works for the FBI and for the DNC/Hillary at the time they "investigated" the server. Coincidence?

    I bolded it for you.
The FBI was revealed to be in the bag for the Dems, if you are wondering why they did not force the issue.

James Comey's behavior proves this is false.

The FBI worked hard to protect Hillary, explain away the missing emails, the conflict with the server and they worked hard to sweep as much of this under the carpet as they could. Crowdstrike had an FBI contract at the time and the FBI took their word for everything. Behind closed doors, under oath, Crowdstrike told a different story. Almost in the exact same way Adam Schiff lied in front of cameras, while behind closed doors, no evidence of collusion actually existed.

They added another investigator to ease the load. Looks like they have more than they can handle and hired more help.
