It does but the DNC won't admit it. Or the MSM who supports whatever the DNC tells them. When 66% of the voters say they don't want Biden to run again and the DNC refuses to listen to them that is what is known as Authoritarian rule. Not a democracy.

DeSantis voiced his concern over the event.

I'm not registered to a party.

I would definitely vote for Biden over anyone currently primarying him though, if i were allowed to vote in the primary.

There isn't any situation where my vote would be meaningful the way the system is currently set up.

I have skin in the game because i live here. Do you think our vote counts as "skin in the game"? It's not.

As they should. If the choice is between those two...it's not a choice.

    committed to what?

I served 5 years on active duty in the military, and 5 years in the National guard.

Casting a meaningless vote isn't commitment.

Thank you for your service but we are talking about the right to vote. I live in Puerto Rico which is dominated by liberal ideology. I still vote in the primary even though my vote always gets outnumbered. My mother lives in Massachusetts. She is 90 and still votes Republican. We know her vote is outnumbered.

I am not allowed to vote in primaries. I am registered as an independent. I'm not going to join a party i do not want to belong to just so i can vote in their primary.

    It's not a party.

I am not registered to a party. Maybe unaffiliated is the correct term. I am not registered to any political party.

most people of his age would not have got up so easily after a fall like that. Clearly his physical health is not as bad as some like to make out

People poking fun at an elderly person falling. Takes a real low-life to do such.

You know, the tragicomical thing about this latest example of Biden's deteriorating ability to coordinate his mind with the movements of his body is that the actual "stumbling block" was a sandbag! The sandbag was necessary to stabilize a teleprompter that was being used to feed Biden his speech.

So what's worse, someone needing to have a thing like a teleprompter to deliver simple congratulations to a graduating class, or, that same speech-giver being so unaware of his surroundings and being so uncoordinated that he stumbles over the thing that supports the other thing that he must have in order even to speak. Gee, how did presidents give casual speeches before the advent of the teleprompter? :confusion:

But when a similar number says they don't want Trump run again and the RNC doesn't listen that isn't the same thing?

At least he voiced his concerns.. unlike this guy who scolded others for not showing sympathy while not showing sympathy himself. All he could muster was an insult that Biden was too old to campaign for his current position.

I'll tell you what is worse. A president trying to give an impromptu speech and talks about how the Continental Army captured airports during the Revolutionary War. Or having to draw an extension of a hurricane warning cone just so he doesn't look like he was wrong when he said that Arkansas was in the path of the hurricane. Or a President calling the Secretary of State and trying to intimidate him into overturning an election. How about a President that talks (brags, actually) about sexually assaulting women.

As long as the choice is Trump or Biden anyone that chooses Trump has some serious soul searching to do.

I am not registered to any party.

perhaps independent was not the correct term, if Independent is an official party. It seems pretty dumb if there is actually a party called independent.

No party affiliation, or none would be my party.

That's why there is a primary.
