Clearly, he's marketing. His characterizations of facts seems at least dubious. Mueller is retiring... surprise... he's needing to find a rock to hide behind because his complicity in several probable actions that can be pursued. He should run.

He followed the law and took the CHARGES to the Speaker of the House. An impeachment based on those CHARGES or CRIMES was begun but the Democrats said obstruction of justice and even perjury did not warrant removal from office so the criminal CHARGES were held until Clinton was leaving office. Mueller could have done the same thing but he did not find Trump guilty of anything.

Trump clearly thought so, or he wouldn't have asked him... Christ, he told a private citizen he could fire the AG of the US....

Anybody to do the dirty work, amiright??

Right ... Mueller didn't go in with the attitude that he shouldn't thoroughly investigate obstruction because he couldn't indict under OLC regs. The day Mueller was appointed he had only 1 potential act of obstruction, Comey / Flynn to investigate. Team Mueller identified 11 more potential instances. Trump surrendered more than a million docs, and McGahn spent weeks being questioned about obstruction. Other staffers were questioned, and Mueller's questionnaire was all about obstruction. Mueller's just given Nadler the brush-off. Why can't Mueller bring himself to say: I can't indict, congress must impeach, and I will be a witness at those proceedings?

Let me paraphrase 'ol mulehead. "I hate Trump, and wanted to make a criminal referral to Congress, but we found nuttin." Boo Hoo.

Oh, BTW, Congress does NOT have the power to investigate obstruction of justice that the donks claim. :omfg: All of you fake internet lawyers can reference the Kilbourn Test, and the fact that the Prez was within his plenary powers with plenty of case law backing Trump. :roflol::roflol:

There will be no impeachment. :cynic: Trump is vindicated. Remember you heard it here first. :)

Mueller: 'If we had confidence that the president had clearly not committed a crime, we would have said so'
Special counsel Robert Mueller issued his first public statement on his investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 election, emphasizing one of the key points of his report: that his office did not conclude whether or not President Trump committed a crime.

In his statement, Mueller said his office could not bring criminal charges against the president because the team believed it to be unconstitutional.

“If we had confidence that the president had clearly not committed a crime, we would have said so,” said Mueller, adding, “Charging the president with a crime is not an option we could consider.”

No, it's a Trump didn't know any better... McGahn likely could have gotten the job done, should he have agreed with the decision...

Not if one is able to comprehend the English Language and capable of reading what Meuller said.

But I can see how you think the liar is exonerated.

"If we had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so."

"If we had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so."

That isn’t why and he’s said so.

You do know that impeachment requires bipartisan support. As long as Republicans stick by their man, he is protected. It is not Democrats that can't get of the potty, it is Republicans, and their cult of personality thing with president potty mouth.

No ... Trump several times, for different reasons told McGahn Mueller should be fired for conflicts. Trump at one point or another to bypass Rosenstein is of no consequence. Trump cited his cause from the very begining. McGahn refusing is irrelevant, though it may have gotten him fired. Trump has the authority to fire DOJ officials with or without cause. Congress can take that any way they like, so can you.
