So, politicalforum.com is a publisher and not a 'public platform'?
    Please explain.

But it gives him the attention the narcissist craves.

And now they are not going to let him post lies, and good for them.

Not 1 single RWer addressed this post.

I bet it hits them to hard.
And blows their false claims right out of the watrer.

But they will rant on anyway.

Twitter is Biden's best chance at victory.

tRUMP is self destructing on social media.

Lets test that. A conservative creates a messenger service and creates millions of accounts. Just before an election, this conservative CEO abruptly changes the business model from what people subscribed to, to a service that suppresses messages deemed inaccurate by FOX news.

Is it still a messenger service?

Are you claiming it is done based on one's party and that alone?

I know that is not the case.

Is every single one of tRUMP's tweets being disclaimed? Or just those that are lies, Like claiming Scarobourough is a murder? And similar.

I bet not every single tRUMP tweet is disclaimed. So, you have no point, that I can see.

Selectively editing. Iran promoting violence is OK. Discussing mail in voter fraud is not OK.

It varies on how far left you really are and who it is directed at. It's very Communist, to be honest.

In fact it borders on, it's propaganda.

    Then neither should politicalforum.com

But they both can do so, they are for privately run companies.
Both sites have TOS. They put that disclaimer in before you ever sign up for their service.
Abide by it or have posts deleted.
    Can even get banned.
Many people have been banned from this forum. Why isn't tRUMP and his supporters shutting this site down?

Sure... but it's going to be an out-of-business messenger service shortly.

Just as anybody who wants to leave Twitter because Twitter enforced their published rules is free to do so..

No. tRUMP and twitter is the best thing to him not getting reelected. He can't help but lie, and now he's getting called out for lying.

As a neutral party they have no right to determine what is civil outside of threats of violence and hate speech and even that is questionable. However when they start selectively censoring tweets from once side disproportionately while comments from the side they agree with which are blatant falsehoods are allowed to stand, they’re editorializing.

In which case they lose their liability protection.

Discussing voter fraud was not halted or deleted.
Just a warning to do fact checking on the post.

Which is literally the crux of the argument that seems to be lost on some people.

    They DIDN'T "Censor" anything.

The tweet is still up (and accessible) for anybody who wants to view it.

Why is "the Daily Wire" always posting these ludicrously mischaracterized narratives?

    From the link:

"but have kept the Tweet on Twitter"

    So?

IF The Tweet remained accessible, then how is that "censorship"?

Not relevant to the discussion, but Twitter did allow such messages. Im not a trump fan and I assume everything he says is false. That doesn't excuse Twitter putting their thump on the scale.

Not to derail the thread, but has anybody else made a futile appeal for a deleted post on here?? I have, on a couple of occasions.

Sure, a few times I'll admit I tip-toed across some subjective line, but those 2 times was simply somebody not following the entire conversation (IMHO)...

But I didn't threaten to shut anything down....

Neutral party? They are of no party affiliation.

They are a privately run company. They have TOS that all agreed to before getting the account to use their platform.

They have every right, just like politicalforum.com does, to sensor as they see fit.

Really? Who has been banned for stating something which isn’t true?

PF allows anyone to post, even if what they post isn’t true because people will call them out on it. They don’t editorialize in regards to what they deem “true” or not. That’s what Twitter is attempting to do.

No they do not. They desire to have liability protection from what their users post. In order to qualify as such they must be a neutral party and not editorialize users comments outside of violence and hatespeech.

When they start censoring people’s comments for “truth” they no longer qualify for that protection because they are inserting THEIR opinions into their users posts. They cannot insert their opinions into users post and then claim they qualify for liability protection because they don’t edit.
