    Who did this guy hurt, give me a name. And feelings only count to leftists and I certainly aint no leftist. Ted Kennedy killed a woman and he got voted in election after election. Al Sharpton's big mouth got people killed and he's on TV all the time and paid to do it. Clinton raped women and he's still your hero. But black makeup on this guy hurt someone? I'm not buying it. The left these days is all about racism, everything is racist, even two white women selling tacos. I can probably name an object, any object, and someone on the left can probably find something racist about it.

    Your misguided strategy is to deny and deflect racism against minorities even when it's in your face. I'm not sure why you do this and it doesn't matter. You lose all credibility by taking this approach.

    Blackface originated in vaudeville comedy acts which some one would wear blackface and acted like a ignorant buffoon as part of the act stereo typing African Americans as ignorant buffoons
    so it is offensive to do so because of the history of it

    now I will ask you to do me a favor I don't know if you are a conservative and a Trump supporter and if you are stop because its ignorant racist like your self the gives the vast majority of conservative Trump supporters that aren't racist a bad name

    no, they had to do blackface because blacks werent allowed to be actors... so white ones portrayed them on stage and film...

    I'm a white Republican. And I don't have a problem with it. Why should I? I don't see racism. I see a joke. And I think it's pretty funny. In fact, the guy in the pointy hat looks ridiculous next to the dapper black guy, both with a beer. If anyone should be offended, it should be KKK guys because the conehead looks absurd. I think it's a great photo....a classic, even.

    Except that he did it after being elected to public office which is a tiny bit different. And he apparently did it to make fun of the hurricane Katrina victims which is also a bit different.

    Only read the title and it says blackface is offensive. So it really is about feelings. I’ll give a crap when the left stops saying I have privileges and superiority due to birth.
