Yep, the POTUS has announced he will discriminate against white males. The dems will approve. That person will become a Supreme. What's funny is it will be against the law. Where is the MSM on discrimination? Who would have guessed that a white president would discriminate against whites. Who ever thought that a male president would discriminate against other males? Had Biden and his advisors had an ounce of brains then Biden would have said he would appoint the most qualified and then he could appoint a black woman. But suck-up Biden has long been after the black vote. Biden has no shame.

Breyer said he will retire after a replacement is confirmed. That is contrary to the Constitution. Replacements are confirmed to replace vacancies.

When Justice Grier retired he waited for a replacement. The replacement died after confirmation and Grier remained on the court another month.
In 1968 Chief Justice Warren made his retirement effective upon replacement. The Republican minority filibustered and that dragged out 13 months.
When Breyer was coming in, Blackmun stayed until the day of transition.
Breyer might be hoping this drags out over a year.

 

"advice and consent" has to wait for a vacancy? article 2 section 2 clause 2 does not mention that.
