When he tried to leave , students tried to hit his car. While the consul was leaving the building, his entourage had to smuggle it into the car for fear of prejudicing by the protesters. Consul inserted at the car, but the rioters surrounded it and tried to climb it. Vehicle was damaged, but the consul, as well as other members of the delegation, was not injured. Arab palestinians are violence when somebody doesn't go their way.
