    Because the woman who was supposed to preserve BO's legacy lost, and for an egomaniacal narcissist who was as obsessed with his precious legacy as Obama was, that had to be extremely disappointing at the very least.

    There's a lesson to be learned there about the consequences of governing via unilateral executive fiat (you live by the phone & pen, you die by the phone & pen) but humility and introspection aren't "progressive" traits. Instead of being chastened by the error of his own ways it would have only made him even more bitter and resentful.
