I love the left humor as much as the next guy, but that was absolutely comedy gold :)

What's odd is how the left has reversed a nickname for the left "Snowflake" to a nickname for conservatives! I wonder if it's now OK for the Republicans on PF to once again have liberty to call the left "Snowflakes" without being warned for doing so?

Interesting question to be asked ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

Which has nothing to do with me.

Got anything that disproves what CBC said about the cuts it made & when?

Have you noticed how the left has stopped calling people intolerant? It would appear they finally realized the word intolerant applies to them.

Too bad it was based on an unsubstantiated fantasy, huh? And therein lies the actual comedy gold.

you didn’t do your homework. CBC says Trump’s scene was cut from the network’s version of the movie in 2014. And it was done because the scene was not necessary for the plot.

Please cite your source for claiming that the left is no longer complaining about any sort of intolerance.

Great cameo, in case anyone missed it. Better than a commercial any old day.

Petty is as petty does. It's what we have all come to except from those who forever claim they are for "free speech" and "tolerance".

Sad and petty and extremely at odds with how they see themselves.

Not so long as you are admitting no one has any reason to accept your assertion. Glad we are in agreement that there is no reason for anyone to do so. High five.

Still no facts, but a lot of projection and coping.

I'm reminded of a classic SNL skit, "We came all the way from the Museum of Tolerance". Not sure why that just popped into my head. o_O

I'm just curious, what does flat out denying what CBC said achieve for you? Is there some sort of childish satisfaction in just denying what the broadcaster of the movie said, or are you so desperate for approval from fellow conservatives that you are happy to behave like a kid in a playground?

I can't think of a single adult reason to do it.

Seems like there were a couple progressive folks at the beginning of the thread who weren't too fond of the idea that Trump's scene was intentionally cut.

Odd though, you're really concerned about the conservative reaction... which you've projected on to me, when I haven't argued either way, I've simply asked that you provide some facts.

Thanks for showing how petty some people on the left can be and showing that some don't know what the emoluments clause is actually about.

    Take it up with PF

I am not going to get in trouble trying to get around their profanity filter simply because you want to know what I mean when I said "orange *******."

I have provided facts from the start, you simply refuse to accept them. A Canadian TV network cut out a brief cameo by a high profile US businessman & TV personality (and some other small scenes) from a film 5 years ago. Those are the facts and no one has provided any evidence to the contrary. Why would such a happening concern me or anyone else?

Your only contribution is to pretend these facts don't exist. I am no closer to understanding why you would repeatedly do this. perhaps there are some things no sane person can understand.

    It's just a comedy film,
It will not bother him for in the 90"s it's Trump's looks and machismo that is important.

I saw this in the theaters when it came out.

A few others had come out like The Bodyguard.

We had just finished destroying Iraq in gulf war 1...and I was maybe 12.

And the movie was electric in the theaters, maybe even more than Home Alone (1)...

My dad got the movie on VHS, and we watched it constantly.

Everytime this scene came in, my dad pointed out that it was Donald Trump.

Thats how I first heard the name.

My dad said he was a millionaire!!!

I will stay in the plaza hotel suites one day.

    NEVER been to New York.

    Exactly.

I don't see what the big deal is.

Networks edit movies all the time (to get in another commercial, etc.).

Trump is coming across like a snowflake on this one.
