    We definitely agree on this point.

    The problem is that neither party wants to address this.

    Granted, the economic reality of the matter is that our food remains relatively cheap specifically because of migrant/illegal labor.

    If all agriculture was done with legal/domestic labor, food would cost considerably more. I get the impression that a lot of Americans wouldn't be fond of that.

    More than anything, we need to reform the visa system. For the most part, the market should dictate how many people we let in, not the government.

    Except that the state has been cutting school funding over the last few years. That's why they lack funding, because they've been cutting it. Revenue is down and the state has responded by cutting funding for things like education. If school funding was increasing and they still had to layoff teachers, you might be able to make a case for the increased cost of providing resources for illegal alien students, but that's not the case.
