Statistics are indeed understood. However it is your presentation of them that is rejected on the basis of not being in line with reality. The greater population size of the state of California does not, in any way, refute the fact, not merely theory but absolute fact, that they have far more firearm-related deaths than any other state in the entire united states.

You are free to continue claiming the discredited per capita argument until you are dead. But simply repeating nonsense to an audience that has refused to give it consideration leads to nothing. Change your argument or leave the discussion.

Nope. Per capita data is more accurate. Sorry.

Would you prefer I put you on my ignore list? I would be happy to do so if you feel further debate is pointless. Just let me know. I have done it before and would be happy to do it again if you like

If such a course of action is indeed followed through with, then you will have demonstrated conclusively that you are indeed not interested in open, honest, and legitimate debate and discussion, and thus are devoid of a legitimate reason to being present on these forums after having been removed twice already for your problematic and noncompliant approach to interacting with other members.

If such a course of action is indeed followed through with, because you cannot tolerate being rebuked over incorrect and improper data, you will have instituted significant and dedicated efforts at having you removed yet again for the above mentioned reasons. If you have no interest in participating openly, you have no purpose in even being present, and you will be reported for every infraction committed until such time that you have been removed.

Choose your course of action wisely and appropriately.

funny how those tend to be the most high crime areas too Cleveland and Columbus have had republican mayors in recent history. but high crime areas tend to be areas that vote for Democratic politicians. Something about being a criminal or dependent on the government tends to appeal to the same class of people apparently

funny how anti gun laws don't do squat in decreasing crime and in many cases, seem to accentuate it. Democrat policies tend to draw in those who want to suck on the public teats. and that creates highest population densities. and crime since those who depend on others for their sustenance often are the same people who want to steal and rob

Strangely there is no mention of permits in the USA link. How many gun permits have been issued in the west side of Chicago in the last 2 years ??

While issuing concealed carry permits will not magically reduce Crime or Violence or Crimes involving firearms, it has never been touted as such, it does give potential Crime victims a fighting chance as opposed to being an unarmed defenseless Crime victim.

Do you really expect the good guys with the guns to hang out where the bad guys hang out?

Because the Democratic government - like the Democratic Party - is RACIST - extremely racist - who technically made CCW legal - but in a way to best stop poor and mostly blacks from having CCW. The CCWs are for rich people. The Democratic Party ALWAYS has wanted to keep blacks disarmed.

Austin and North Lawndale, two of the city’s more dangerous neighborhoods, don’t have nearly as many concealed carriers as the more affluent neighborhoods.

One reason for this may be because Austin and North Lawndale have more criminals, and gang members are least likely to get permits for their weapons.

Another reason is because it is fairly expensive and time consuming to get a permit. To legally buy a gun and ammunition in Illinois, you must have pay $10 for a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card (FOID) and pass a background check. This card is issued by the State Police. In order to obtain a concealed carry permit at a cost of $150, you must conduct sixteen hours of training, the longest of any state, including three to four hours practicing at a gun range.

Sixteen hours and at least $160 is no small deal for the poor and working class who just want to protect themselves, and this doesn’t even include the cost for a firearm.

So while Chicago has seen a large increase in permits, it’s fair to say that the law is discriminatory to those who probably most need to legally carry."
    https://www.usacarry.com/chicago-increase-concealed-carry-permits/

Overall, the number of CCWs in Chicago is a very small number compared to any other major city where CCW is allowed.

In the past you have urged HUGE taxes on ammo and firearms, plus extremely expensive insurance - the standard tactic of the Democratic Party to desperately try to figure anyway to keep blacks and poor for being able to have a firearm - and to MAXIMIZE putting the most number of black and poor people prison for trying to defend themselves any way in defiance of the demands of the liberal white Democrats terrified of blacks having firearms.

Why do you want only wealthy white people to have firearms for personal defense?
