Chicago Teachers Union crushed for refusing to resume in-person learning: 'They should all be fired'

1200 American lives used to matter, but I guess it doesn't matter anymore. It's like arguing that 0004% of Americans died in 9/11, as if the number is so small that is shouldn't matter.

No one suggested that.

It's dehumanizing, and it damages the relationship between humans. There are many people I work with at Amazon whose face or smile I've never seen. People are making policies that get in between human expression that has evolved over 100ks years, and enacting them for years. And they are pretending BOTH that the damage being done isn't a big deal, and that their policies have any benefit to society.

 

The reaction DOES matter.

After 9/11, did we mandate and require anybody that lives in a super tall building must wear parachutes at all times? Did we forbid airplanes from flying over NYC? Did office workers refuse to go back to working on any floor over 20? Did their union?

Response should be in relation to threat.
